That's why OP mentioned doing it at the store since they can process the trade in and give the left over as GC.

Straight talk is a verizon prepaid and the phones are the Verizon model. I used that without issue.

I can't believe how smoothly this deal went. I drove 18 minutes to a Walmart in my city, bought the straight talk iphone 11 for $220 post-tax, drove another 10 mins to best buy, and they handed me a pixel 7 and a gift card.

I purchased iPhone and tried to take directly to BB without opening but employee said they can't do it on prepaid phones. So, if I open box, and connect to wifi will the device then pass any checks that BB does?

No walmart phones available for pickup within 100 miles. I ordered for delivery, arriving december 5th. Will BB still have this trade-in deal next week? Or should I order from google store ($500 deal apparently ends Nov 28 according to google store fine print, not sure how long the elevated trade in deal lasts) and trade-in once my iphone arrives?

Just do it thru the Best Buy website and choose Verizon as carrier. Bring the phone into Best Buy for trade in, it's a simple process
