False advertising. Yesterday it's 25% off. Today it's 40% off. But final price is the same. They just bump up the retail price.

They're returned batteries, for one reason or another. It could be part of a kit that wasn't used, used a few times (return windows are fairly short), or it could be a battery that was returned for failure under warranty. Due to storage and shipping concerns, these lithium batteries are scrutinized during the reconditioning process more than other products. Each one is hot iron stamped with 'Recon' in the plastic casing at the end of the process.

I've purchased around 25 of their recon batteries over the years and have never had an issue with any of them.

Yeah that's a bad sign. Cyber Monday used to be the 'Free Shipping' day. I was hoping for at least reduced shipping.
