I use this tool to pin crown corners for glue up and to pin baseboard corners together. Haven't had a single issue with it after trimming two homes and installing cabinets in one. Great tool and good price for the value. I originally picked it up for this price plus a 10% discount with a 2ah battery. My deal didn't have bag or charger, but as stated, battery was slightly larger.
I've got one of these. It works alright in soft wood, but doesn't work well for oak or something really hard. It'll drive the pin alright, but the pin might shoot out in some random direction. I never had this happen with a pneumatic one. Might work better with a shorter pin as well.

That is typically due to the orientation of the tool to the surface and the way the grain is running
Do a google search and see if a single store is offering a price close to this and you'll see that you won't find one.
I did just that and see it available brand new on ebay right now for under $200....like I said previously. Anything else you want me to Google for you?
It's true, this can probably be had for cheaper if you are willing to wait and keep an eye on things. Source: https://imgur.com/a/Ywh8Vrk from last weekend.
That being said, $180 is still a quite good deal for the kit from a place that you can return it to for free within 90 days if you somehow find it cheaper elsewhere

Probably still not enough proof for bluedeer.... I think you have to sell him one for that price to prove this isn't that slick of a deal 🙄
