Eligible subscribers* can purchase Disney+ (No Ads) for $2.99/month. Please note that the Disney+ (No Ads) Add-on will no longer be available for purchase, effective December 8, 2022. Existing subscribers who bought the add-on before it was discontinued will be able to keep it – as long as they do not cancel their plan or remove it.

You can add the $2.99/month Disney+ (No Ads) plan to the $1.99/month Hulu plan that is on the Frontpage now. Good time to lock in the price.

I got Hulu reactivated successfully but for some reason I'm getting an error when adding Disney+, says contact help Frown

Update: Contacted customer service, the easiest way was to cancel new account and create new with a different email. Hulu cs refunded and closed the other new account, took less than 5mins after I started chatting with cs

I wonder if this is because they are planning to roll out the ad-supported version at roughly that price.

Or are they strictly not allowing a bundle with the $2/mo Hulu plan?

Can I get Disney+ add on (no ad) for $3 anytime before 12/8? Or is this something I need to add on when I get Hulu?
I am trying to reactivate my old Hulu account for $2/month Black Friday deal now. I need to check when our Disney+ annual subscription renews before I can add on Disney+ to Hulu.

EDIT: I can see I can add on Disney+ later.

Does anyone know if you would get to keep it forever? I mean the $3 per month add on. I recently renewed my Disney plus, but I'm wondering if it might be worth it to add for future savings. If I'd be grandfathered in until I cancel, it might be worth. Or is the $3 add on a year contract, so it would only be good until next December?

Where are you seeing it keep forever? I'm seeing price change at first billing cycle after December 8th for current subscribers

I activated my Disney+ account thru Hulu account options. There it had a notification of price change in Disney+ account settings

And this is what I saw:
Note: The prices below will go into effect as of December 8, 2022 for new subscribers and on the first billing date on or after December 8, 2022 for existing subscribers. Any changes to your subscription plan will not take effect until this time.

Yeah… I grabbed this deal but I have the exact same concern… if this truly locked in a $3 AD FREE price for the long haul. Gonna be ticked if they flip this to the ad version after the big price increase- forcing me to deal with ads (I don't want) for $3 per month or pay $120 to dump the ads for ad-free version post Dec 8. I have until Dec 7th to verify all of this… but I'm a bit nervous that I'm gonna get screwed.

Just wondering if anyone is able to confirm this with 100% certainty and has chatted with a rep at all 🤷 ♂️

If you pay for ad-free it's locked in for one year.

Right I'm seeing that in these titles but nowhere in the fine print did it clearly state that on Hulu or Disney+.
I did just look at "future billing" for Hulu in my account and it did show the $5.1x price for the next 12 bills… so I supposed I can interpret that as ad-free $3 price lock for a year is good.

What's interesting is future charges reflect the $4.98 price from now until next summer. That's as far as I looked.

Don't forget the triple bundle with ESPN+ for $14/m if you have the Amex Offer that takes $7 off each month, so $7/m for all 3. This bundle will also be gone after 12/8.
