I have been with Cricket more than 7 years. Cricket used to have good deals but not anymore. You should add $180 for any deal they offer and that is just for cricket users to then use it on their own accounts. If you want that unlocked, you need 3 more months extra.
I'm already on cricket in a family plan that my brother pays for. I can get this for ~$160 right by porting in a random eBay bought number, and just paying for one month of service right? Once I get the phone I can just put my current SIM card into this new phone and it will work and I don't have to pay the other 2 months right and just let the eBay number die.
Last year there was a deal on iphone cases and I ordered two. Cricket left one out of the box. I called and emailed multiple times over more than a month. I gave them everything they asked for, and they never returned my stupid ten dollars. I had to pay good money to have a curse placed on the company. 0 out of 10. Do not recommend Cricket.
The way I see it is I will pay $30/month for base service from Cricket/Total wireless/Visible, etc, so I calculate half the $60/mo as spent anyway. So $50 for the phone, + the extra $30x3 for 3 months = 140 for me, but I have to stay for 3 more months at $30/ month for it to unlock.
Go for this or will there be better deals in the nest week or so?
Seems moderately slick since the Straight Talk deals are over and they (and other carriers) are trying to charge $299 again. Total has iPhone 11 for $299 but there were some 15% off codes floating around, but that's still $255 + 2 months of service.

Kills the deal. Shame.
