Kayano, nimbus and cumulus normally run around 150 for the new models. The previous versions (20's instead of new model 21's or 11 versus new 10's) normally on sale around 85 bucks depending on sale watching.

I believe the gel-excites, pulses, etc are their lower quality build models. Normally find them at the discount shoe centers. Maybe 80 bucks?

Refers to heel to toe drop. Most shoes will have a difference in height between the heel and toe, thus a 10 mm heel drop means the heel is 10 mm higher than the toes.

Whether or not 10 mm is outdated is pure conjecture. Some people have problems with low drop shoes, some don't. Really comes down to your gait.

Imho, if you're just getting into running, going to your local running store and talking to the people there will save a lot of future pain
No Extra wides working code and this is higher than last weeks sale for the Kayano at $62.xx.

Dont forget Amex offers for $15 of $60.

How is a shoe's drop become popular for running shoes? If it fits your foot and running style, then who cares?

Not as good as BF deal. Nimbus 23 have uglier colors compared to Nimbus 24s.

The 10mm drop is so outdated, as is most other aspects of these Asics models.

I don't know what the guy is talking about I haven't heard of a certain Drop being outdated I always thought it was a personal preference. But I think at least some companies are going for a lower drop i been seeing 4-8mm drop on new shoes. I'm guessing lower drop is starting to become more popular which is understandable. I would prefer a lower drop as well so I have to agree 10mm is becoming outdated.

Thanks, I got the wife a pair. I also had an extra $10 from an email sent to me from Asics / birthday code, for a pair of Nimbus for $64 total after taxes.
