Refers to heel to toe drop. Most shoes will have a difference in height between the heel and toe, thus a 10 mm heel drop means the heel is 10 mm higher than the toes.

Whether or not 10 mm is outdated is pure conjecture. Some people have problems with low drop shoes, some don't. Really comes down to your gait.

Imho, if you're just getting into running, going to your local running store and talking to the people there will save a lot of future pain

Not as good as BF deal. Nimbus 23 have uglier colors compared to Nimbus 24s.

But I think at least some companies are going for a lower drop i been seeing 4-8mm drop on new shoes. I'm guessing lower drop is starting to become more popular which is understandable.
