Philips Sonicare 9900 Prestige currently on sale directly through Philips for $248.96, combine with the 15% email welcome offer and it'll take another $37.34 off for a final price of $211.62 before taxes.
Their coupon codes say they do not combine with other offers but it still will apply. I also assume this will work with their other products but I was looking at the 9900 specifically.

If you are going to spend this kind of money look hard at the 9700. It comes with more brush heads, has direct mode selection on the handle rather than having to go to app, and comes with the charging glass so you can just drop in to charge. The only advantage of the 9900 is the nicer looking travel case.
Also usually Sonicare prices are uniform among authorized retailers. Kohl's sells them - it's where I bought mine. Buy when they offer Kohl's cash and use it later to get more brush heads.
As per dental professional Once I met, its highly overpriced tech for simple job to be done.
Maybe but it's cheaper than a filling or crown. I'm a lazy manual brusher - especially at night when I'm tired. Sonicare has saved me from a lot of dental work vs when I used a manual brush so the $200 I spent on it was a bargain. I can tell the difference because my hygienist use to need 10 minutes to get all the plaque off my teeth and now it's maybe 5.

I am a dentist and you are correct. The entry level Sonicare toothbrushes are just fine and cost $35 on sale. That's what I use and have recommended for the past 20 years. Oral B electric toothbrushes are great too.

Well, glad that your investment worked out, but for me same can be achieved with entry level sonicare brush, the brushing strokes method is the real king.

100% agree. Performance is the same among all Sonicare models. I've been using them for about 20 years, replacing only when they died. I have a 9700 now only because I really wanted a blue one, which at the time was only available in that model, and because Kohl's, again at the time, allowed coupons on Sonicare. So it was like $200 w/ tax and it came with 6 heads vs the 1 or 2 with other models, so I splurged. No regrets. Love the blue over the white or black. But never would pay full retail for it.
Seriously, don't buy this. The core function of a Sonicare toothbrush is the same across all their models. You can get a basic one much cheaper. Just make sure to use your warranty when the screw eventually backs out and causes the body to vibrate more than the head.

A cash back site is at 10.5% too so that's another $20 off. Pretty slick.

I bought 5 philiphs diamondclean from Costco (still expensive) and all of them start to have charging issue after 1 year.
Taking in account the price they charge for this product, it is outrageously a rip-off. I will stay off this junk
