As a person who purchased Amazon basics powerstrips two years ago, these are cheap quality products. after a while, the wire starts falling out from the point where it connects to the strip making it dangerous. Buy a better quality product please.

It's stupid how expensive these have gotten. I have started buying every one I see at the flea markets and garage sales now. I'll pay $1-2 dollars typically for used ones.
This doesn't seem bad for new delivered to my door.

Not knocking you buying these used. That is not my intent. Keep in mind one big surge or a number of small surges is all these things can handle. They will still work as an extension outlet but you no longer have surge protection. Look at point #10 in the link.

It's not bad but i can get these anytime at Walmart at a similar price point. I tend to go for surge protectors with USB connections these days. Helps a lot with phoage Smilie

Can you find these at Walmart for similar price with a 6 foot cord? I think that's what makes this a good deal, but haven't checked Walmart in a while.

How many damn power strips do you need? And doesn't everyone already have a few spares in their junk drawers?
