    The "Samsung Save at Work Member" discount might not work for some people, especially if doing a trade-in. I ordered this a few days ago and the discount would actually show until the very last checkout page, where it would then disappear. At first I thought I reached the 2 items / 12 months limit, but that wasn't the case. Chat support couldn't help after trying different things for 30 minutes and directed me to call phone support.
    After waiting on hold for 35 minutes, a very nice gentleman told me that for this deal you can't combine EPP with certain other discounts. He acknolwedged that this was not clearly stated anywhere on the website and that the subtotals leading up the the final checkout page could be misleading/confusing. This limitation might not apply to other samsung deals that are actually featured on the EPP pages themselves.

    I got the Watch 5 Pro Black LTE w D Buckle band and traded in the Gear S3 for a $125 credit. Subtotal would show $274.99 after $125 trade-in, $70 Promo and $30.50 Samsung Save At Work discount. On Final checkout the last discount would disappear and show a subtotal of $304.99. Tax is calculated at pre-discount amount as well $40.84. So Total for me was $345.83. Just in case the extra info helps anyone else.

    I have this watch and am starting to feel like it's a gimmicks. I haven't tried Garmin but every Samsung and Wear OSwatch I have owned isn't worth the money. they all have drawbacks of accurately doing things like calorie tracking my walking distance and my daily active time. I really which for the price they would start to make more reliable devices. I feel like Samsung has cornered the USA market only because other telecoms aren't able to freely compete.

    Thanks for the tip! I was able to get the Watch 5 Pro for $151 including a work discount and trading in my Watch 3. I love the bezel, but the OS was showing it's age and I welcome the much better battery life.

    I originally was at $188.99, but I went through the chat and said I wasn't getting the cyber week offer of $70. There was a $50 promo already applied to the cart, but the person made adjustments to bring it down to $151.

    I feel the same way about wear OS and Tizen, when it was a thing, none of these really did a good job at tracking activities or health metrics. The Garmin Fenix series seems a lot more accurate and the battery life is 14 days on a single charge. There are some really good deals on the Garmin Fenix 6 pro right now too.

    Whereas the first is unlocked phone for $129, the other is $99 but requires activation of the phone service.

    Does one have to have an actively subscribed phone to pair up this watch? Can one use the phone, just like an iPod, without an active subscription to use this watch?

    I already have an iPhone with a service with AT&T and don't want another phone service just to use this watch.
