  •  Example:

Normally rewards are a 10% bonus but until 12/30/2022, you can get 20% off your gift card (which is 25% added value to the card). So in other words, you can get a $100 GameStop Gift Card for just $80 of your Cashback Rewards. Lowest card value is $15, highest is $200 but you can get multiple ones.

Flip this however you want:
  • Effectively get 20% off eShop, PSN, Xbox cards
  • Wait for good deals and pay with this to effectively get 20% off
  • Buy some overpriced regular items and effectively get 20% off to make them almost normal price.
The possibilities are limitless. Well, as limitless as their stock in your store....

I'll make this very clear for you unlike the others. You can only buy digital currency gift cards with the gamestop gift card: PSN, Xbox, eShop, Steam, Fortnite, etc. You cannot buy other types of gift cards: Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, Doordash, etc.

Never tried it, but are you asking so you can break the denominations down?

Edit: Oh, I was conrfused. You meant like other gift cards. I'm pretty sure you can buy like eShop and other cards like that without an issue. Does Gamestop sell gift cards for other stores though?

You redeem in your Cashback Bonus from Discover Card for Gamestop Gift Cards and get 25% bonus cash on the card. So that is effectively 20% off your purchase you make with the card. But it's not like you get the 25% bonus cash, then when you buy something you get another 20% off. I'm just saying because you only spend $80 on a $100 gift card, you've gotten 20% off.

And yes, you can use the GC on whatever they offer. It's the same as cash.

Thank you for the clarification because I see the math off in a few of the other posts. Clearly 20% added to an $80 card is $96, but if it's adding 25% I see where the $100 came from. Guess this is a good deal bounce

In-store, yes. I have purchased Steam gift cards with GameStop gift cards for my Steam Deck. There's a limit of $200 or so each day.
