Deal Instructions:

Turn on your Fire TV device (Such as Fire TV Stick or television running Fire TV)
In your Fire TV settings, ensure the screensaver is enabled at the shortest start time, and ensure the sleep timer is either disabled or will start after the screensaver.
Wait until the screensaver starts displaying advertisements
Wait for the Shell Rotella advertisement
- Advertisement states "Shell Rotella: Watch our video, get a $3 Prime Video credit"
Use your remote to press play to watch the advertisement
After the advertisement finishes playing, you will receive an email containing the link to claim your credit
- Email will be sent to the email address registered to your Fire TV device
- Email is titled 'Here's your link to a $3 Prime Video Credit, courtesy of Shell Rotella!'
Click the link in the email to claim your $3 Prime Video credit

Get a $3 prime video credit for watching a Shell Rotella Oil ad on Fire TV Devces. Offer came up on Fire Stick after it was idle for a short while and the screensaver ads came on.

I spent a hour untill it poped up. 3 dollars a hour is good money.

I mostly use the Amazon no rush shipping credits for Prime Video so this $3 just goes on that pile. When I see that I have credits about to expire, I usually either buy a movie with some re-watch value or I look for cheap Movies Anywhere compatible Disney movies on Prime since they earn Disney Movie Rewards points that I eventually use to buy 4k blu rays. It seems like a lot of work but I don't stress about it or even always do it. Sometimes I just let the money expire. It's free money; there's no wrong answer.

Right now, with Merchant Offers on Citibank cards, I'm getting 5-7% cashback at Sam's, so it's a no brainer, even if there's a couple extra cars in the line.

IMPORTANT TIME SAVER: DO NOT click the center "Enter" button of the 4 way jog buttons. Instead press the play/pause button right under the home button.
I got an Acura commercial instead of Rotella, but I believe everything below will apply:
My timeout for the screensaver was 5 minutes, and the 1st screen saver was the Acura commercial.
When I click the center "enter" button it exited the screensavers!!
I waited another 5 minutes for the screensavers to come back but I waited too long and missed the 1st Acura screensaver. I thought I could wait until it rotated all the screensavers and come back to the Acura but it never did... It rotated through about 15 different ads before it started showing Amazon scenery screensavers. So if you missed it just go back to home screen and wait 5 minutes again.
