I bought them and they're awful. Don't hold their charge anywhere I've ever used them and the ones that came in the package aren't charged
Don't do it! That's exactly what I did and I have to change batteries every few days. They're awful!
I bought some about a month ago and they are terrible. They don't hold charge for more than a week or so, and are also physically larger than normal AA batteries. Sent them back and sticking with Panasonic eneloop from now on.

Disappointing comments. I guess I must be one of those "years ago" buyers that got a good set at a good price shortly after the Project Farm reviews came out and these did pretty well bang for buck-wise iirc. I've lost most of them and was looking to replace but I think I'll skip these from what I see here. Thank you all for updating my info.

I have them running an anniversary clock, some remotes and some led pictures that I haven't shut off in days.

They're doing their job quite well

Capacity seems fine, but the self-discharge rate is high. Not good for remotes, etc.. but good for high drain stuff like massagers

No kids, huh?
When they were younger they had more AA toys. They only needed 20, maybe 30 tops. I guess one S&S could be warranted, but it's better to not do S&S. Wait for individual deals.

Point is, these aren't disposables that you have to stock up on in order to replace every few weeks. These last years. Heck I have Eneloops that are 15+ years old and still work like new.

FWIW i purchased some of these a few years ago and run them in trail cameras... i have pictures starting in september all the way through july of the next year from them. thousands of pictures, i dont know if they were somehow charging off the sunlight or something but i was very very impressed how long they lasted. (cameras were left to the elements for all that time and were not touched at all)

rechargables are 1.2 volts, vs a standard 1.5v AA battery, so in some applications these perform poorly.

For example, smart locks, or anything that need a constant draw.

I got a set of these years and years ago. The recent reviews seem terrible. Anyone buythese lately that can comment?
I've used a few in some flashlights (led) and they don't seem to last very long.

Since these batteries became Japanese made, the quality is worse and worse 😭

these are on sale for 5.49 at IKEA , they are Japanese made and not the crap that AMAZON sells now. if you do not have an IKEA near by, they do ship..it was like $6 for me https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/ladd...-00509814/
100% The way to go. Did the same thing and they work great. Smilie

These white cap batteries are made from the same Enloops battery factory with the same quality...

Pure Garbage.....I got 3 cycles out of most of them before my charger refused to even notice them, shocking them did no good. But then again so are Energizer and many other brands. Meanwhile, Enerloops from 2015 are still going strong and some generic AA's that got well reviewed on amazon (EBR's?) are also going strong.

Amazon sells great, cheap alkaline disposables...but for rechargables, read the reviews and spend a little more.
You need replace your charger than the batteries...
