Genetically Modified Ingredients
The masses don't seem to care, it's slowly being sneaked into many things. Can't see anything good come of it! Myprotein have started putting it in also.

Decent deal if you're in need of some protein powder

I enjoyed the fruity pebbles last time I got it. Tastes like the leftover milk after you've eaten all the cereal

Wanted to try the cocoa pebbles, but oos
hey! i got the fruity pebbles one and enjoyed it, so i got i the cocoa pebbles one figuring i'd like it too.

wouldn't recommend, not a fan of the flavor. it seems like they try and have pieces of cocoa pebbles in it, but it comes across as protein clumps. flavor isn't very similar, tastes like a sweet off-chocolate protein powder.

Tempting but ultimately passing. Comes to $10/lb. Not an awful deal, but not super slick either.
These days $10/lb of isolate is as good as it gets unfortunately

Don't worry about alternatives. It's not much unlike genetic modification by selective breeding of hearty plants. Over time, you breed out negative traits. GMO does the same with faster result, and is more targeted for specific traits. Yes, they often use sequences found in other plants or organisms, but rather than be afraid of it, go read about it and learn about it. It's really not scary.

My biggest problem and reason why I am trying out other brands is the use of Sucralose for sweetener - wish the Stevia only version was available/on sale for a similar price.

I got birthday cake pebbles couple of months ago when it went on sale - $50 for 5lbs. It's delicious. But then again, I've been drinking MyProtein pure iso for like 5 years since they've been having their $6/lbs BF sales. But my stash ran out, and I haven't seen those sales in a while. Looks like anything around $10/lbs for iso or hydrolyzed is a good deal now days.

Whey protein isolate unflavored is best. No added sweeteners whatsoever. You can add something yourself if needed, instead of harmful chemical falsely labeled "natural" artificial sweeteners.

I don't believe you will ever find whey isolate any cheaper than $10/lb anywhere, ever

I believe you are thinking of whey concentrate. If you see whey isolate for less than $10/lb, buy as much as you can fit in your house
