"Let is SALE"? Is that just a terrible typo, or some kind of lingo I don't know about?

I see a 500MB plan for $5. Can I do this and add 1 GB at $2 each?
Not 100% sure because I've only used the pooled plan, but I would assume so. Also, with non-pooled plans the topped up data rolls over if you don't exhaust it during the month.

Hopefully not. Referrals via PMs are against the rules, too, and can fetch a 5 point warning if you're caught. A Google search for one would be a much better choice. Thanks!

To get the Tello 5GB deal, you need to place the $10 order by December 16. When creating an account, don't forget to click referral code below "confirm password" so you get $10 Tello Dollars. After placing the order, you will then have 30 days to activate the new SIM. After activating the SIM, you request the port, but that does not have to be done right away if you want to stretch it out a little longer.

If I were to do this deal, I would get the 5GB for $10 for the first month, then downgrade for the second month, manually renewing the day before the scheduled autorenewal and redeeming Tello dollars. The unused data will roll over as long as you manually renew. I would probably get the 1GB/500 minutes for month two which would be fully covered by the referral rewards. So, I would get 6GB and two months of service for the initial $10. Then for month three, I would probably downgrade again to the 1GB/100 minutes for $7, again manually renewing a day early to roll unused data and whatever is left from the 500 minutes purchased for the second month. The nice thing about Tello is you can change plans every month if you decide you need more or less data/minutes.
I currently have two lines on Tello, the lowest plan. Is there any specific way to do this so that I can open a new account under a family member's name while also getting the referral credit and transferring the existing Tello numbers to the new account?

Sorry, I'm not really sure. I think you would have to port out and back in to Tello to get the $10 Tello Dollars per account.

It's supposed to be "Let it SALE" as in "let it snow." They fixed it on their website.

Off-topic, is there a plan that gives 2GB data and low minutes and low texts per month?

All I care about is the monthly price.

Thanks.
Yes, $5/mo for 6 months via Lyca Mobile: https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/762442

I have unlimited Phone/text/data for $30

Unlimited data is 25GB then throttles you down to unlimited 2G.

You can teether or use your phone as a hot spot. I come home and set it as a hot spot and use it on my other devices. If you're not gaming or constantly downloading/streaming a lot 25GB goes pretty far.
Tello is great, and MVNO's have done an excellent job making cellular affordable to those that do not want expensive unlimited plans. Though, I recently switched to Verizons' Visible provider. For $25 monthly, you get unlimited 5G, talk and text. The service has been excellent, and I can finally enjoy unlimited data without spending a fortune. The $25 plan is available for PayPal members that sign onto a Visible account with auto-pay through PayPal, otherwise the plan is $30 monthly. So, if you're looking for unlimited data for $25 monthly, it's finally arrived.

This is interesting advice, but it seems to me that by delaying any eSIM activation and number porting to a later date, you're basically wasting an already-tolling billing cycle with another overlapping holdover plan from another carrier. The renewal date is fixed at one month later, or mid-January, no matter what, if you pay Tello today.

You pay Tello when you sign up, but your 30 day service period does not start until you activate the SIM. While I see your point about double paying, since you can roll the full amount of data, none of that is wasted. So if you defer porting for 10 days after you activated the SIM, the only thing lost would be 10 days of service time, which may have been worth losing to lock in the promotional price (which has now expired).

Can I sign up using a Sim card I had used last year or do I need to order a new one?

Well, the promotional differential is merely nine bucks, so 10 days of late activation pretty much eats up that benefit deadline, using your example.
