I like LEGO and Nintendo but wish they had gone a different direction with these Mario sets. I don't like that they're all supposed to connect and wish the figures were normal minifigures.

Still live for me.

If they were regular minifigs they couldn't fit all the electronic internals and they wouldn't be interactive. My 5 y/o loves them as is.

It's a massive hit with children, you know the target range for these toys.

Every adult on the internet "I don't like them. I want minifigures... waaaahhhhhh".
Every child plays with them for hours and hours.

Guess this is to match Target's $10 GC offer. Was thinking about it because I would have to pick up at Target, but then I saw there are no gift options and often ships without a box, so that's a no go.

My son was very happy with it. Spare pieces Available but one pieces was not compatible with one of the propellers. He was a little bummed.

This LEGO Mario Line was a complete fail. The idea of playing a simulated Mario game with these was just bad from the get go.

Do you have to build this from front to back on autoscroll? Too stressful!

Oh I agree. It doesn't seem to really work together well. But my kids love the Mario and Luigi and play with them ALL THE TIME. They just use their imagination. They like the sounds.

I think that's the point. Kids use their imagination to play with Mario sets after actually building the sets, like with Playmobil but with sounds. It's like 2 toys in one. I think Mario sets are great from kid's point of view. From my parent side of view, I like kids playing with Lego Mario sets than playing video game all the time.

One thing I hate about these sets is they don't come with written instruction booklets, you have to use an app. That's the real reason our sets don't get built or played with as much Frown
