Rockports have gone way down in quality. They sell mostly plastic shoes especially at this price point. And they use their good name like this and fake MSRPs to make you think you're getting a good deal. Still might be a decent deal if you need them. Just know what you're really getting.

Oh man, I expected Italian leather boots for $45.

Anyway I like this brand. I have a pair of their faux leather sneakers and they've been solid. Very light and comfortable and I love that they have wide sizes for most designs.

I wouldn't expect leather for a $40-45 price point, but for the $100 regular price leather is absolutely reasonable.

I will agree that the couple of pairs of Rockports I have from several years ago are holding up reasonably well on the outside for what little I wear them, but not so great on the inside.

This right here tells you this is a shill post. Again might be an okay deal for some but the fact that they are plastic and you've got a SD staff member that posted it and a hidden Rockport employee posting here should all be red flags that this is a shill post in collaboration with Rockport and Slickdeals to offload some lesser quality shoes.

I for the life of me don't understand why Slickdeals has to be so underhanded with their sponsored deals. Everyone has sponsored deals just label them as such.

I am a Rockport customer & was interested in the shoes & since I thought the description was vague, I submitted a question on their website & they replied. I shared their reply.
