Rockports have gone way down in quality. They sell mostly plastic shoes especially at this price point. And they use their good name like this and fake MSRPs to make you think you're getting a good deal. Still might be a decent deal if you need them. Just know what you're really getting.

HOw do you know which shoes are leather and which are not? There is absolutely no mention of top material in the description. Im looking at other shoes using their HOLIDAY code

I feel the same way. Every single Rockport "deal" gets catapulted to the Front Page under "Personalized" deals. They all suck - $40 for plastic shoes are a terrible price.

Yea but this is Slickdeals rite so maybe you wouldn't expect top grain leather but if your not getting at least lowest grade genuine leather than $45 is not really a slick deal now is it.
There are tons of genuine leather boots online for near the original price of these boots.
The $45 price would make this a good deal if there wasn't a ton of fake leather boots for sale already at this price

Wow my Boomer Dad used to only wear Rockport. With hip styles like these boots here I might have to put some on too. Who would have thought Rockport could make synthetic look so fashion forward. 🤪

That's another thing about Rockport now. These specific models don't list their materials. They make specific models out of cheap plastic then intentionally hide that fact. Got into an argument with someone that absolutely didn't believe that the Rockports on "deal" were plastic. I suspected since they didn't mention what they were made of then they were plastic. Emailed customer service to confirm that they were indeed plastic. Again it's not that it's necessarily a bad deal but the shady practices by both Rockport and Slickdeals make this a lukewarm deal at best. My suspicion is that these are lower end models made specifically for outlet stores and such like a lot of brands do now to make you think you're getting a good deal when you're really not.

Rockport used to look like shoes for seniors. They have adapted and updated the look, and with the comfort, I am in for a pair!

I prefer non-leather, as I don't need to promote animal slaughter, so no issue there.
But these run small? narrow? Shoot, I hope their exchange-Retrun process is not PITA!!

Ya, these are not a great deal, but I can use a pair of semi rugged looking, yet business Ok shoes.

Maybe just assume they are no leather if it isn't stayed as leather. I mean, why would they leave out perhaps the single biggest seilling point for men's shoes

Not a lot of brands making wide sizes though, there are so many brands that I would love to buy but they don't make wides
