Good desk PC sub with larger bookshelves or in tight living room. Effective to 30hz when wall loaded.
I have the 10" and 12" versions of these. The "12 packs a good punch if you want hard hitting bass for music. The 10" is good for movies. Either one is a must have for the 5.0 system that often shows up here. I would recommend getting the 10" at thos price if you don't have a sub for surround sound, it adds such more to your sound

Good speaker, a hell of a lot lower than what I paid for it. You won't win any bass competitions, but it is effective for low Hertz down to 30

Any comparisons to the Dayton 10 and 12" subs that are generally rated as the best in the price range?

Sweet! Have been looking for a sub for my desktop all week and was looking at the 8" model on Amazon. I got 2, one in "Good" condition for $39.99 and the one posted for $110 for my personal media surround. Awesome.

I think this pairs nicely with the rest of the jamo set I bought last year at this time. I have the 5.0 set which for the price certainly outperforms any soundbar I have used. Next I need to look for the atmos units that sit on top of the floor standing speakers

Anyone tried it together?
Compare with svs 1000 or 1000 pro under $500 by the way

I'm seriously considering this as a second sub to fill in various dips due to room acoustics with the main sub being my SVS PB-12….

Wonder if anyone has any input on this, or as another poster asked can anyone provide comparison feedback vs the Dayton audio options?

I bought this when it was similar price from Amazon.

Completely DOA on arrival. It would power up but literally no sound. Tried multiple cables and plugging in my old sub would produce sound. So it was definitely defective.

Was bummed to get something that didn't work like that which makes me suspect on QC. Of course nothing is perfect, but still.

I feel like I bought this for $69 less than a year ago off of a slickdeal. And for people that wonder about 10" being powerful enough, it is plenty powerful and also it sounds best for things like movies/television that may have rapid rhythmic sounds. It's ideal also for EDM or very rhythmic music. for reference, we have a 600 sq ft living room and I have it set to like 10% of its max volume at all times because I don't want my wife to divorce me. I have it hooked up to a pair of Klipsch The Fives, running eARC from our QLED 75" TV. For music I have it all connected to an Echo Link for streaming as well as to my record player.

Sorry! You're right - they come in 808 (8inch) and 810 (10inch) versions. I thought the smaller one was 10" so if this is the big one then get it! It really has some thump when laid on the ground or against a wall. My neighbors can hear it from inside the house with the windows closed.
I have a 500 watts RMS sub, volume set at about 40%, and I cannot hear it immediately outside my house, let alone in any neighbors house..Considering this sub is only 75w RMS, I find it hard to believe it can be heard in a neighbor's house (unless you share a wall with your neighbors and the sub is placed close to that wall?)

My exact set up for the past year. You'll be happy I think. .But I'm selling my Vanatoo's and going with something else. The bluetooth on the T zeros can't be disabled and anyone within range can connect. The one flaw with them and a fatal flaw for me. Also Vanatoo was useless, ignoring all my emails. I thought they were going under, but I learned they're just sticking their heads in the sand about this known problem. At least just own up and tell me. Grumble grumble. Mad
BTW, you won't be able to control the sub with the Vanatoos or Vanatoo remote, if that matters. I kept the Jamo Sub nearby and on it's side, because the volume etc are located on the bottom.
