Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Just confirmed that Sprint-billed customer on T-mobile does *NOT* qualify.

The only option is to open a new plan on T-mobile, and cancle the Sprint plan.

Eventually, T-mobile will convert Sprint-billed customers to T-mobile, but the customer has no control over that conversion and it is like years away? But perhaps one day this will happen in the future to where Sprint-billed customers won't exist.

The internet speeds are not so bad on this. Obviously it's not as good as a wired connection or at home WIFI. The latency is definitely a major downfall here, but what do you expect, it's internet from the air.

It's a powerful 5g hotspot with I think (3) antennas inside, for LTE, 5G. It grabs the service from the nearest street pole, most common ones are on the road.

If you live in a city / urban areas you can be getting speeds around 200-300mbs during a day, until evening when everyone gets home from work, and start using internet. Then bandwidth gets distributed among everyone, and speed will slow down.

If you're suburbs or even country, you can be getting speeds from 10mbs-50mbs. Which is still okay for streaming movies and browsing internet. Definitely worth it imo.

It's basically like a super hotspot lol not close to spectrum or any other dsl service
I have it as a backup to my Fiber solution but to be honest with you. From testing for months. It's super reliable and the speeds to fairly consistent. I get about 300Mb/s Down and 40 Mb/s Up on Low signal.

I tested it out at my rental property last week and had almost full bars and was getting 700 Mb/s Down and 80 Mb/s Up.

I guess it depends on the rep you get.. I lost out today. Anyone see details on tmobile site?
2022HINTP10 - I think its very generic code. Once you activate Home Internet, just fill the promotion page with that code and your primary phone number.

I'm an existing home internet customer. Customer service rep told me that if I add a second home internet line, then cancel the existing home internet line within the first year, they would remove the credits.
My rep said that they would remove the credits if I cancelled my 1st line within 90 days

It does say you have to activate a new line... at least that's the way I read it

Your reading it wrong than.

If you are an existing customer than you only have to activate the internet line (not another cell phone line). If you are not an existing customer than you have to activate a new line.

Read it again. It says OR.

So you are paying additional $300 to lock in your $25 lifetime discount. I will say it is still worth it.
Correct. And you can let someone else use the other device for a year. Then in 5 years you'll have 3gbps internet for $25 Wink I have paid for lines to get free lines in a similar manner. Who knows, submit the $100 rebate and see what happens... Then your $300 is $200 bounce

I've been using T-Mobile 5G home internet for 4 months now. Works fine. I don't have a T-Mobile voice plan. (AT&T) customer. Now that I go in and check availability. Put in my address. It says home internet isn't available at my address. Weird 5 months ago it was available and that's how I ordered the device to my address. May be they're limiting the # of devices per zip code due to the promo?

I had this for about a week but speed was not consistent, I was hardly getting 25-30 mbps so returned it very next week. I am now with Verizon 5G home and can't complain. I'm getting 300 mbps most of the time but I do see speeds drop to 150 mbps during the peak hours at night. It is still sufficient for me and my several cameras and streaming devices.

Available for Sprint customers?
I am a Sprint customer and I was not able to get the deal by phone or chat. Was told that I need to go a T-Mo "corporate" store where they would have to create a T-Mo account for me. Call 611 and ask for "corporate" stores. Call the store before you go & see if they can help you.
