Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

I'm an existing customer w/ Tmobile One w/ 2 lines + one watch line. I called and got signed up. Here are the bullet points for my situation

$35 activation was waived
2 day free shipping
Auto pay was added again to my account (I already had it set up)
I am told the first bill will be $50, the second bill would show a $25 and $25 credit and the third bill and going forward would be $50 minus the $25 monthly credit for a total of $25 per month going forward

Even at 125 megabits down (from another post in this thread) I think this is a killer deal to keep a price lock or as a backup internet plan. I currently live in an HOA that forces you to pay a fee which includes Comcast so this won't be a primary connection for me for now but something I will want for the future.

When doing it online, are people seeing $25/month rate after adding it to cart?

At what point does the credit show? I have 3 lines already and it is showing the $50 price. For $25 a month I will pay for it to be back up!

I confirmed with T-Force. It also outlined in the fine print too
that sucks, but I really only need it for 6 months or so anyway. So no biggie, especially with the $100 rebate

Check you junk/spam folder. I had the order confirmation e-mail and service agreement e-mail sitting there.

I have a monthly TMobile prepaid plan which is$15 per month, I chatted with a TMobile rep and she told me I have to upgrade to the mergenta plan, and add two lines to qualify for $35 per month home internet. I had TMobile home internet for more than a year already. They said I don't qualify for this deal. Im curious if anyone here is already on TMobile home internet and trying to get on this deal.
As an existing T-Mobile HSI customer, I tried through chat and it was a no go. I did get a one-time $10 credit.

I tested one for the 2 week trial period. It worked and was registered at my house, but I took it 3 hours away to my parents and used it there with no issues. Just plug it in and it works like cell service. I have no idea though if there are and limitations how far away it can be from your registered address.
I have had the service for about 8 months - no issues with streaming multiple devices, ring cameras and zoom calls simultaneously. THey are pretty specific in the TOS that you are not to move the device without officially changing the service address, so I suspect you could be risking the lifetime deal if they decide to crack down.

Does anyone know these answers from talking to T-Mo reps:

- When does this promotion end?
- Which gateway are they sending out now?
- Is this gateway better than the Nokia 5G-21-12W-A?
- Did T-Mo ever fix it so their VOIP phone service works over T-Mo Home Internet?

Interesting info. Some people have posted they could not add a 2nd Internet at the same address. Even if we could add a 2nd Internet at $25, if we have to keep our 1st Internet for $50 to avoid losing the $25 discount on the 2nd, what would be the point of having 2 T-Mo gateways in the same house?

The only reason to add the 2nd Internet is to get the $25 rate and cancel the 1st Internet at the $50 rate.

This means the sole option available for existing Internet customers is to cancel and rejoin after 30 days which is very risky because (1) we don't know if there will be any spots left on our cell tower and (2) we don't know when this promo ends.
ARC KVD21 GATEWAY BLK CPO is what it says on my order history. Hope it helps!

Same for me. I signed up through chat instead of T-mobile website (it was still showing $50/month when checking out) and rep was able to get me the deal. I waited for confirmation emails, but they never came and then I looked in spam folder and they were there.

Yes. I posted below earlier. You really need to be a PIA and be persistent.

My brother is an existing t-mobile home internet customer. He just finished chatting with the rep and finally got the deal! The rep said he is not eligible for the deal, but my brother was persistent. It took too much time in life, but he got it!

Chat conversation:
I have got some good news for you. You can sign up for this $25 plan

Automatic enrollment in monthly bill credits will begin within 2 bill cycles from activation and will apply at the subscriber level for the HSI line activated within the promo period.

Anyone know the speed of internet for this plan ?
usually 400+ down and 20-120 up. down has been more consistent and predictable than up speeds. ping around 50ms

will depend where you install. I am currently in 5g uc coverage area

I needed to chat with rep to get the deal, but got with all the same promos already discussed.

Upsale was attempted for a bundle that had a hotspot backup that continues to work during power outage for 39.17. I basically live under a tower, so my speeds are 100x over what I currently get from Centurylink, so optimistic.

One question: I currently use Google Wifi and love it because I can control my kids devices (shut off their wifi at bedtime). Can you use an additional router like that with the T-Mobile device?
