Make sure you are signing up for Home Internet Unlimited and NOT Home Internet Lite. Home Internet Lite does not get the promo.
From CNET article: "Those interested in T-Mobile Home Internet can enter their address at the carrier's website to see if it is available in your area. If you have multiple lines on your account, such as a family plan where not everyone still lives together, the carrier confirms to CNET that you could activate multiple T-Mobile Home Internet lines at the discounted $25 promo rate, so long as the addresses are eligible for the Home Internet service."

After earlier telling CNET that multiple lines on an account could sign up for the offer -- such as a family plan where not everyone still lives together -- the carrier said on Wednesday that the deal will be limited to one Home Internet line per account.

Tried to order online, it still says $50 after $5 autopay. Why it is not showing $25?
#############################################################################################################################
Per T-mobile Customer service it will not show the $25 dollar nor the promo if you order online but as long as you order during the promotion period it will automatically get added to your account. User dishguy confirmed that indeed it worked, I included his post below for reference . Alternatively you can call, chat, go to a store, or reach out to T-Force on Twitter or Facebook to get them to place the order for you.
Good luck.

For existing customers, chatGPT provided an alternative solution:

Not sure why this was removed but - FYI -
For those that care;
The modem/router that comes with home internet service has
a built-in GPS receiver and antenna, and sends your GPS location back to T-Mo at regular intervals and presumably they can request it anytime.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

What I ended up doing is changing my router to bridge mode to feed my Ethernet. Besides much better performance, that allowed me to stick the gateway by itself where it receives the best signal as well. Seems a little counterintuitive, but it does work much better than feeding Ethernet off the ports of the gateway. Maybe try that if your using a router, or have one to use if you were just plugging in a device or 2 direct to the gateway. If your router doesn't have a bridge mode, see if there is 3rd party firmware for it.
1st I went into a store and got the device.
They told me they could NOT add it to my T-Mobile account because I was an original Sprint Customer so they set me up w/a new T-Mobile account just for this deal.
Then, when I tried to sign up for an account to pay the bill, I was told that I could not get the special price since I did not have an existing T-Mobile line on the new account (yet I have 5 lines on my Sprint/T-Mobile account). They then told me I'd lose any promotion on my existing Sprint/T-Mobile account if they merged the accounts.
So, I just turned in the device the next day. Figured I was done with it.
Today, I get a $55 bill for the device...I called in and they told me that the account was never fully closed! WTF!!!! Now they try to tell me that I will have to pay a pro-rated charge for the one day of usage.
I have over 5 hours invested in this "Worst" Deal of my SlickDeals History!
Wow...us Sprint/T-Mobile customers really got screwed on this deal
Im still waiting signed up in store Friday smh.
Well can't plug in right now. Don't have my adapter for the MacBook here. 🙄
For what it's worth I get about 40-50% faster downloads straight off the tower with my phone, and similar or sometimes oddly lower upload speeds.
It's just Ethernet that's the problem. I prefer to use my own wireless router, and my house is very wired up. So I'd like to see the Ethernet speeds match the wifi.
I still have one more floor to go up too if need be with the Sage and can just drill a hole from the upstairs closet to the downstairs one.

Think some others with issues posted a 1.0.x firmware.
You'd just need to take care in opening the gatway so you don't damage it since tmo theoretically could charge you for returning a damaged unit.
After testing out the T-Mobile Internet Gateway on my default shelf location, and getting as high as 400/120ish speeds, with worse speeds around 180/40, normal average around 290/80, I dropped Frontier. Now this is in a home that was stated "High Speed Internet not available", so I'd imagine in less congested area's it should do even better. Of course moving gateway around as some others do should also improve speeds if desired.
My Samsung S22 5G phone is actually even faster connected to 5G tower, with 480 speeds. Lower Home Internet speed is probably due to going through wired router to gateway and double NAT IPV6. Hoping all of this improves or other options are figured out to get around these limitations within a couple years.
Only real issue I have is with the gateway/router, where I need port forwarding for IP camera's and Plex. But for now I can still connect remotely using Google remote desktop to HTPC/Server and access everything from there..

EDIT: Sorry just noticed you are using older gateway, not the Arkadyan from this deal.

After a couple of CSR calls, I finally found one who seemed to understand the situation - she wrote up a long list of things that needed to be done and instructed me to go to a Corporate store and have my accounts merged. She also instructed me to bring the Cell Router just in case.
The corporate store rep, even after reading what the US based CSR wrote, was unable to merge the accounts and instructed me to close my Sprint/T-Mobile account and lose all future promotions I had on that account. At that point, I was done and just told the guy to close the account and take back the device.
Today, I learned the POS never closed out the account but did indicate the device was turned back in. Slick Move on that CSR's part - He'll be explaining why tomorrow in front of his boss!
Checking social media, I see that others have also wrote about similar problems being a Sprint customer. T-Mobile's social media team tries to play the good guy, promising to take care of the issue and quickly get people move to IM, DM's, and e-mail...yet, nothing is ever done and people go back to social media to complain.
NO ONE at T-Mobile seems to have the balls to make a decision or fix the issue related to legacy Sprint Customers not able to take advantage of T-Mobile deals. Or I haven't found them yet!
As to lots of legacy Sprint customers getting in on the deal, maybe they had no promos left on their account that had to be finished out or were already converted into T-Mobile billing, or they gave up future promo payments to get in on this deal.
