Previously bought a refurbed from Newegg. Scooter I got was clearly used, well worn front tire and barely cleaned. I don't think they did anything to refurbish it other than rebox. I ended up returning it and buying the same scooter new from Costco after a several week run-around.

Just FYI this model has a litany of issues, one of the most common being the external battery connection disconnecting from the scooter which can burn out the connection and/or fry your control board. Obviously the Ninebot Max g30lp is 2x the price new, but is well known to be far more reliable

watch this deal is going to sell out very soon once people discover that this is essentially an ES4 rebadged es3 plus to meet costco demand.

This is so tempting but I already have the Bird ES4, non-folding scooter from two years ago. The folding mechanism almost make this worth buying another.

The description list "Front & Rear Shock Absorption" but I think that is a mistake. From the picture, the rear wheel is a solid attachment to the deck. The Segway ES4 has a rear shock but not this ES3.

I think this also lack the under deck lights of the ES4

For those that are somewhat handy, you can upgrade the rear wheel and add a drum brake to make this so much safer. Here are the parts that are needed...

I think you are right. Found the Costco listing of this ES3 Plus and it shows the pivot / connection point of the deck and rear wheel in the 1st image

...so tempted to get this.

It has under deck lights. Don't see drum brake info in your link.

Try copying the link and paste it into the browser. Not sure why taping on the link doesn't bring you direct to the post

I'm tempted to buy this as well, but I'm scared it's going to get stolen. How do these compare to Lime/Bird scooters?

I own one of these - I can get up to around 20mph on a full charge, closer to 17-18mph under 80%.

Fun little toy to ride and great for that "last mile" transportation. Well worth it at this price, i bought mine for full retail ($600) at Costco.

I have a ES3 Plus that I bought from Costco. Quality built and never had any issues. In every way this is the same as a ES4. Although this is a refurb it's a pretty good price.
