I was a huge proponent of this service at one time. The coverage is excellent and the price is low. However, their customer service is so poor that I absolutely would not recommend it to anyone. I spent at least 8 hours on the phone with them when I tried to simply move a line to another account. Instead of transferring, they disconnected the line and I lost access to it. You have been warned.

Xfinity customer support is bad, I have not received the multi product discount. Not yet received the $100 gift card. Have been following up for last two months multiple calls.

I saw the same issue so I called Xfinity Mobile customer service and had them place my order. They text you a link to review and confirm the order before they can submit. That page showed $200 prepaid card attached to my order. So I guess the only thing I may have lost is the $5 cashback from SlickDeals!

Family needs a new provider, but not sure this is it. I know how bad Comcast/Xfi support can be.. the offer is tempting though.

When Comcast has outages for their internet, that doesn't affect Xfi mobile, does it?

That normally means either you reach the max # of line limit, or the number port-in is not supported.

I ported one line out, the port is finished and xfinity mobile still show the phone with "Deactivated" status, how long it takes to have that phone disappear from my account?

I'm on the same boat, and they ship out SIM 4 days ago and I still didn't receive it, so I ask them to resend it, they said they don't have option to do it, then I ask them to cancel the line, they also cannot do it since the line is not active, because they ship the SIM out so online show I can activate the line, he want me to activate the line, then he can cancel the line, which I refuse to do it.

So I plan to order again with different IMEI number (current one in their database which make it invalid) and port the same number.

Did you try it? Last time I try probably 3-6 months ago, $30 credit still applied and I never pay anything for their service before port out. I think there may have two versions of SIM, one with credit and one don't

and u can verify it online account?

i see the value in not involving a human, (stay under radar), so porting out is best.

but it adds cost that may be unnecessary.

Are you sure of that? Cuz I would assume the referral is per account and not per line . Don't think you can refer yourself. You can refer someone who does not have XM yet for sure.
