I was a huge proponent of this service at one time. The coverage is excellent and the price is low. However, their customer service is so poor that I absolutely would not recommend it to anyone. I spent at least 8 hours on the phone with them when I tried to simply move a line to another account. Instead of transferring, they disconnected the line and I lost access to it. You have been warned.

Xfinity customer support is bad, I have not received the multi product discount. Not yet received the $100 gift card. Have been following up for last two months multiple calls.

I saw the same issue so I called Xfinity Mobile customer service and had them place my order. They text you a link to review and confirm the order before they can submit. That page showed $200 prepaid card attached to my order. So I guess the only thing I may have lost is the $5 cashback from SlickDeals!

You look on your online account under the "devices" tab. Then you'll see your active lines... And sometimes the lines that you recently ported out from XM. Weird cuz sometimes the ghost is there and sometimes it's not. Sometimes 1 bill cycle will clear it up.

We can always request on call to get that ghost removed, if it annoys you. It did to me and have got them removed multiple times without issues

Yeah I already called a couple of days ago and it's still there. The last time I went to an XM store and the guy called the same reps and it was gone right away. Only thing with that ghost device is sometimes it won't let you add an extra line since the system still "includes" it as one of your number of lines.

Has anyone had any luck for cashing out these cards? I know ATM access doesn't work, but are there any other recent methods that work? I'd buy stuff, but keeping track of returns then reusing seems more effort that its worth.
Use the cards for stuff you know you won't return. Groceries, gas, pay your phone bill, homeowners insurance, car insurance, Co pay for a dental implant, breast augmentation, tummy tuck, penile resizing and the likes etc etc. So many alternatives you're not a Slickdealer if you are having problems using this gift cards.

The ghost line will not be counted as your active lines. Just tried it, I can still add lines even though I have 3 ghost lines in my account (8 active + 3 ghost so far).

Well i am having a hard time getting $10 charge reversed for a line that their rep added when I cancelled the order as advised over chat.
That line would be a ghost line for me too

I give up on it. The charge me $10 activation fee and monthly fee for the line that I never activate, they agree to remove the monthly charge, but not the activation charge even I didn't activate it.

Yup that is more less un-avoidable. I lost 2 lines in this round. Got initial $10 charged for both

You actually pay for groceries, gas, and phone bill etc. and consider yourself a slickdealer? You need to level up my man. Free food at work - very little spend on groceries. All cars are EVs so charge at work for free - haven't used gas in years. Phone bill is already -$5k because early paid off phones + free lines. Homeowners insurance is through escrow. Costco GC's are good idea, but I already have $4k in Costco GC's because of recent renovation project. I guess I'm in a weird place in life. The car insurance one would've been an valid, but that is already paid.

In case anyone else is looking for ideas. I'm going to try pay federal taxes via debit transaction ($2.20 per transaction) to see if that works. The back of the card does say "This card can be used anywhere Visa debit cards are accepted" and it does set up a pin when activating. So hopefully that work for the $3k in Xfinity Mobile GC I have currently and the $3k or so I'll be getting in the next couple of months.
