I have had one of these for years that I got as a gift.. Sound quality is fine, not amazing. It floats but doesn't sound right when in the water. Sound level is fine in a reasonably quiet environment. I use it in the driveway when washing the car and can hear it fine. I used it as a car stereo in a golf cart on vacation and it was just barely enough volume for that when driving. Hope that helps.

According to historical reviews, this thing actually sold for ~$50+ a couple of years back - with people actually paying those prices.

I'll give it a shot. Looking for a daily bathroom/shower speaker with decent sound. This should suffice.

I have this speaker.

Are the plus side, it's pretty well built and I think would be very difficult to damage. Might be good for outdoor activities and such.

On the negative side, the sound quality is poor. I'm continually disappointed by it. I bought it on a trip where I had forgotten to bring my bose speaker.

It's pretty much relegated to the garage now.

In for one, even though I don't really need another BT speaker....
Smart for Walmart to limit the quantity to one, I need to buy a bunch of groceries to get free shipping for the speaker. They won't ship those groceries and I need to pick up from store.

Mine arrived today. Sounds great for $15; probably wouldn't spend any more on this. I have an Altec Lansing Baby Boom that is clipped to my golf bag and this speaker will be the new golf cart music source.
