LOL, True story... I was sitting at my local "watering hole" next to an Amazon driver(still in full uniform and drinking). I asked that very same question. He was blunt and said, don't have us deliver it. "Shit gets knocked around the whole trip". He suggested, if at all possible, pick it up yourself and inspect the box and TV in the store. So, I will be buying my next one from a brick and mortar store and bringing it home in my truck.

You should be able to just check the box. It isn't a $20 discount. I believe it is more like you'll get $20 credit for a future purchase.

Good budget TV, one of rtings picks for budget tvs as well. Have had it a few weeks and like it a lot. Was pretty wary of trying a non-big box name brand but I've been very pleased with everything from how fast the UI is to how good everything on it looks

That was the main reason I really wanted to get this as a gift since it seems like an awesome tv for the price. How do you like the blacks and colors that it displays?

I must have gotten a dud from the refurb deal because there is a visible border of light all around the screen, mostly seen in solid darker color backgrounds but not in all black, local dimming is on.

This vs TCL 65S541? I got TCL on Black Friday and the picture quality is very average. Thinking if i should return it and get this one.

Get the Hisense. TCL QC isn't good, especially the BF deals. I have the u7h, it's amazing. I had to send back 55" TCL because of significant issues.
