I have used the sony M4s noise canceling and was blown away, wonder how these are compared ot those? I couldn't justify spending $240+ but if these are in the same league, its a no brainer, I dont mind using rechargeable aaa batteries if it means saving $200 bucks.

rtings review :

They look fairly mediocre based on the review. High end current Sony headphones have very good noise cancelation but their cheaper older models not so.

Still seems fair deal for $22

eBay $14 with shipping (opened box).

https://www.ebay.com/itm/16583771...SwI5pjnLMP

BH has them at $24.

I bought this in 2016 (opened box from eBay) and it was good. If you are expecting Bose quality then you are looking at the wrong thing. I think the sound quality is good when ANC is on, otherwise it's terrible.

So if you want a cheap ANC for using in flight entertainment, this is the one.

I got this. Though the whole turn on switch was gimmick. Couldn't notice a difference. But the headphone is ok. On par with the Sony headphones that best buy had got 10-15 a while ago

Because the answer is obvious. These are designed to be simple ANC headphones, not for top-of-the line sound quality, and they definitely won't be in the same league as headphones that cost 10x the price. If you moved up a few tiers to the 710N or 910N the sound would be more comparable, but then you'd be spending 70-140.

None of my devices have a headphone jack. Thanks, Apple for starting this trend!

So these would allow for reasonable noise canceling while connected to airplane entertainment console via 3.5mm Jack?

I use these at work and I've been happy with them. Great for music and blocking out loud conversations
