FYI if you have EA Play/XBox Game Pass you get a 10 hour trial of this game.
I am a big time car guy and gamer and this is one of my favorite racing games in recent years. Forza being the best all around but this one is nice arcade style fun. Probably best Need For Speed (imo) in the last 15 or so years.

just watched IGNs review...
good god, that "story" looks horribly painful to sit through. i don't mind the cartoony stuff they added, but it is an odd mix of photo-real and cell shading. a modern day Auto Modellista would've been pretty cool... not that it had the special effects stuff, but a modern day Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero would be pretty awesome too (while I'm on memory lane... haha)

i'm with others, waiting for <20$... it'll be on a GameFly sale for 15$ in no time Wink

You have no idea, if i had my way i would have gotten the digital console, but now i see how fortunate i am now to have a disc drive. Luckily stock shortage forced me into getting it, and Ive saved way more then the $100 difference with the drive. Deals like this are always around the corner.

I don't see the need to buy games when they launch, unless they are multiplayer

I'll wait for a deeper price cut, eventual $20-30 goty edition, or when it's released on Game Pass

Does Target price match their online prices in store? I'm seeing a lot of video games on Target's website say "when purchased online".

I'm planning on using the $40 coupon from the reloadable RedCard deal twice if I can, but it has to be used online and in-store on the same day. Planning to make it work on this game and FIFA 23 since that one is on sale at $35.

GT7 is more of a traditional simulated driving experience, more authentic and true, a linear experience that i really enjoy as well. However, i want unbound for that unnatural arcade style, free roaming and chaotic style of racing without limitations of luxury.

I was really referring more to pricing and value than anything else. I agree both have their niche. Considering Sony games take a while to come down in price $35 seemed like a no-brainer to jump in on for GT7 this Christmas. I'm just not sure whether to jump in yet on Unbound.
