This one uses Bolt receiver not compatible with Unifying. It does connect to Bluetooth also.

Holding out for Tactile... love my browns. If the combo goes on sale I may be tempted to upgrade my MX Master 2s finally. I use the MX Keys and MX Master 3s at home currently and a mechanical keyboard and the 2s at work.

I just picked up one of these (with browns) with a 3S mouse over BF/CM. LOVE IT! I like the browns much better than the reds--much better for typing and Illustrator IMO.

Only thing I don't like about the keyboard is that the backlight goes off pretty quickly, and there is sometimes a slight delay before it comes back on. If only they'd let you adjust the timeout setting to make it stay on for 10-15s, but for some reason, it does not appear possible.

Other than that, great keyboard, looks and feels very high quality.

What is the height of the MX Keys compared to the mechanical keyboard. I want something I can carry around easily. Hence, I don't want something I will need a palm rest for. I currently use the MX Keys without a palm rest and I'm okay. Wondering if the mechanical counterpart is the same.

This is a pretty great wireless keyboard completely let down by the quality of the keycaps. They wear and become shiny in almost no time.

I am thinking about getting the Tactile Quiet. I have a MX Keys and Master 3 at home, the Master 2s at work and want a new keyboard. Figure I'll take my MX Keys and Master 3 to work and get this new combo for the house. Anyone have the older MX Keys and then move on to the MX Mechanical? I tried a regular size mechanical but it's just not my think, wrist rest and all that. The slim logitech rest is perfect for me. Went to Best Buy and tried out the G915 and the MX Keys. I liked the MX Keys better but mostly due to size and don't need the macro keys.

I normally can't use full-height mechanical keyboards. No problems with MX Keys though, it's low profile, and fairly comfortable to use without palmrest.
