If the two computers are on the same network, you might want to check out Barrier for a software solution instead.

Many of these switches will back feed current into the USB ports on your computer so beware. I don't know about this one. I couldn't find anything.

I ended up using one these with a hub plugged into it.

Yes, it's expensive, but it has been rock solid. No issues at all. I confirmed with Tripp Lite that it does not back feed power to the computers before purchasing. It would be a shame to fry your expensive computer by plugging it into a cheap switch.

I had a cheap USB switch prior to this one that was very flakey.

Don't know how much a deal this actually is, per Keepa this was $12.99 a couple of weeks ago, so all the couponing here may just be a strategy to make it look like a bigger deal than it actually is.

But hey, with $2 credit for no-rush delivery it's just under $10, so not bad.

Been using this for a couple years now. Does what it needs too. Swaps my mouse and keyboard between work and personal PCs. Only downside I have is the cable clutter, but that's worth the convenience to me.

So a pseudo-kvm? I'll test it out at $12. Thanks!

This looks cool, but it seems like it is limited to keyboard/mouse, is this correct?

KM, no V. Still useful though. Especially if you can change the input quickly on your monitor.

I have the USB 2.0 version which cost me ~$10.00 4 months ago. I love it, but there are a few issues: 1. the led points to the incorrect port, so it is inverse. not a big deal but should work as expected. 2. If you don't add an external USB power for it it will work, but sometimes gets crazy. I thought it was broken but when added the external power it worked as expected again. External power and cable is not included but is micro USB so you probably have one from an old phone.

I've had the product for almost a year, it's very convenient for using my web-cam, mic and usb devices with 2 computers (work and persona).

I find separate km and v switchers way more reliable, cheaper, and more useful anyway.
