I actually prefer Fight Milk over this.
Less than 50 cents a serving, looking like a shteal. 25 grams of whey per serving, 130 calories.

$24.83 for me

Anyone more knowledgeable able to advise on the cholesterol level? I see other whey protein powder with 0% of DV whereas MM is 20% per serving? Is this ok for those with high cholesterol?
Dietary cholesterol does not matter (does not have adverse health effects)

I just bought Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein Vanilla Ice Cream, 80 Servings from Costco for 71 bucks. Is this muscle milk worth it at a cheaper price?

Okay, so here's a somewhat outdated review (I haven't had this in 4 years).
I'm a former gym rat and someone who was lazy about cooking meals in my 20s. Costco used to sell these Muscle Milk bags, I believe in the same size, flavors, and price (usually about $33 on a sale every other month). I'd buy both vanilla and chocolate. So I ate tons of this stuff over the years.

I eventually tried ON when I had a few more bucks in my pocket and there is no question: ON mixes into a shaker bottle without clumps unlike Muscle Milk, it has less fillers, and it's less artificial tasting for lack of a better word. If you have the money go for ON if you're a typical slickdealer and you're not anal about fine details then Muscle Milk is fine.

So to conclude my long review: if you're someone who is on a budget and you can't afford ON, this is a fine product. I wish they didn't add so many fillers and "concentrates" but that's what keeps the price down. Finally, here's the polarizing thing about Muscle Milk: They load it up with Sucralose (generic Spenda) and other artificial flavorings.

The end result is that this is a very sweet protein powder. Maybe that was their strategy: to get you hooked on something that tasted like your chocolate milk from childhood. But yeah, they did could halve the sweetness and it would still taste sweet; I won't get into arguments about artificial sweeteners. I myself buy Splenda so...

I still remember my post workout smoothie: 2 scoops of chocolate, 1-2 frozen bananas, a few ice cubes, 1 1/2 cups of almond milk, and a bit of PB2. Man, that was such a delight for someone who has a sweet tooth. Word of advice: if you don't like sweet stuff, then skip this or use it in water or sugar free almond milk. Good luck.

P.S. The vanilla is super artificial tasting. I still found ways to enjoy it by blending it with frozen berries or mixing it into porridge. But I can see why people really hate the vanilla flavor.
Yeah, I haven't found a protein powder, even the ON stuff, that I can drink by itself. My go-to is to add two scoops of the vanilla, a banana, and frozen mango chunks from Costco in a blender, with enough water or iced tea to make it pour easily enough into a glass. Totally hides any of the taste issues, and dilutes the sweetness to a palatable level (and I have a sweet tooth).

Sounds like a good idea. Muscle Milk is so sweet that I once had a friend over who wanted something a chocolate protein shake since he noticed I had a blendtec and a huge bag next to it. I added 2 scoops of this product, 2 frozen bananas, regular milk, and a two tablespoons of peanut butter for richness. He couldn't finish it said it's like something you'd order at a smoothie place or fast food.

That's a cool idea on how to defeat the sweetness: use water or tea. Although I count sugar free almond milk as water lmao. Using kale also works, but I don't know if you can handle green smoothies. Blending this stuff for sure is the way to go. I forgot to emphasize this: Muscle Milk clumps no matter how you shake it.

I don't need to read the nutrition facts. I have used all the protein powders. My information is accurate. Read what I wrote. Muscle Milk is the best tasting protein powder you can get.

Gyms stopped selling Muscle Milk because it was adding significant weight to their members. Gym members got upset because they liked the taste. This was more than 10 years ago.

Go ahead and buy Muscle Milk. Drink the entire 5lb bag and see how much weight you gain. For people trying to add weight, this stuff will benefit them.

I try to educate people. I do not consider myself a teacher. With that said, get out of my classroom.
Muscle Milk protein powder is different than whatever you are talking about.

Nothing wrong with sucralose lol... just some people are scared of artificial sweeteners is all
I used to be but then I did a little digging and found that the amounts of actual sucralose in these artificial sweeteners are so small that they're unlikely to cause any harm. And for me, between sugar and artificial sweeteners, the sugar is worse.

A lot of the plant based ones use stevia and/or monkfruit.

Yeah I rarely had artificial sweeteners. Whether it's good or bad, it's helped make my diet not so restrictive. I use no sugar added syrups and condiments regularly. And erythritol , sugar substitutes when I want to bake a dessert treat or sweeten protein ice cream

It doesn't matter sugar or artificial sweeteners in your diet. If it's a small amount, it will all get eradicated with the workout, cardio, etc.
