I always say on threads like this that if you have a best buy outlet in your city, it's worth it to see if they have this. I picked one up about thsi time last year for $325. Was still brand new in box.

Great Peloton bike hack deal! Picked this one up at full price at Dick's Sporting Goods during the pandemic at full $800 price when exercise equipment were at it's highest price peak. This is a great deal for one looking for an exercise bike. Highly recommended. Check out youtube for IC4 Schwinn bike as a Peloton replacement.

I waited and waited for this to come back, but finally pulled the trigger on the $297 Echelon.

Does the IC4 have built-in functionality to allow the app to automatically change the resistance programmatically (e.g., terrain changes, steeping slope, changes your resistance to reflect harder peddling up hill)? Smilie

I also like the 1 year free JRNY, so just trying to see if worth it jumping through hoops trying to cancel the Echelon before it delivers tomorrow and jump on this.

Flywheel is 40 lbs vs like 15 lb for Echelon walmart deal. Schwinn ic4 just drives better and has higher resistance. Just a better indoor bike by far imo. Schwinn ic4 is more comparable to echelon ex-4s.

No, it does not have auto resistance but neither does the cheaper Echelon. I think you need the 4 series or above Echelon to get this.
