def jump on this if you're thinking about going from 2 to 4 dimms of ballistix. It's going to be impossible to find in another month or two. If you don't have ballistix already, I'd stay away just because it's going to be hard to find matches for if you ever want to get more in the future & there are other 3600 16-18-38 (or faster) options out there for only marginally more $.

I got this to complement my 2x16gb of the 3600 variant... I can't find the 3600 anymore Frown.

This 3200mhz version plays nice & is stable with my 3600mhz ballistix, up to 3466mhz @ 16-18-38. My system just won't boot beyond that - my 3600 could also be the problem at that speed, as I was never able to get it 100% stable at 3600mhz.

Since this is still live I wanted to post an update for those that find this and are interested: mine are definitely Micron E-die and with minor tweaking I have them running at 3800MHz 15-19-15-36 @1.4v and they're barely warm even under stress testing (no temp sensors on these unfortunately but to be expected at this price). I'm largely limited to 3800MHz since I'm on a Z390 and that's all this memory controller can do, but after tightening down the timings I'm still well over 50GB/s bandwidth which definitely helps feed my 9600K @ 5.1 GHz.

For anyone on the fence these are great sticks at a great price. These replaced a 2x8GB kit of Samsung B-die and while I sacrificed some speed, doubling the capacity will allow my system to stretch its legs a bit until I upgrade in a few years (and get some DDR5). Overall very impressed at the value and performance for dual-rank sticks.
