4ga CCA has roughly half of the DC current carrying capability of 4ga copper and is much more brittle and prone to breaking with exact kind of bending and abuse that is commonplace with typical jumper cable use.
If we collectively stop buying this trash they'll eventually stop making it.
At the prices you can get on SD for chargers and cables there's no reason for it to be an either/or choice.

I have a DieHard battery from 6/09/2012 in my 08 Accord that I am trying to see how long that battery will last. I will have the use of the cables when that day comes. Hopefully, not on subzero day.
