This was taken from another post for this card a few weeks ago. According to it both cards you're looking at are about equal performance-wise.

I'm pretty sure it was the rx6700 (no xt) that flirted with 300. 6700xts at around 350 are the lowest those have gone so far.

Isn't the RX7900XT(X) coming tomorrow, December 13? Wouldn't that mean retailers will want to clear their inventories of the older GPU?

It's a $900-1000+ card and good luck getting one anytime at or near-post launch. Already people camping out at microcenters. The 6650XT, 6700XT and 6800XT are still the top low-mid range AMD cards.

For 20$ more you can get a 3060 12GB card on Amazon. And it's true the 6700xt is better for most games, if you plan on doing anything other then games like video editing for example, the RTX card is gonna destroy the 6700xt

They are probably similar but worth noting the MSI has a plastic backplate and the ASRock one is metal and gets got so there must be some heat transfer going on. Can't comment on the MSI card otherwise but using plastic as a heat transfer component makes me physically ill.

I have 1660Ti /1660s is it worth upgrading to this 6700XT? Will be playing Fortnite on 1080p on low to medium settings but want 150 to 200fps.

$340 is about as cheap as this card class can be found. Prices have edged upward lately on all cards, which is frustrating.
I was skeptical like you were but after doing my research I found that those payment options do not hurt your credit score if you repay on time (which should be most people here) infact it should help your credit score as you make payments. I think I only put in my last for digits of my SSN and it was a soft credit pull. Again, no hard credit pull and they don't get your full SSN.

I ended up getting this same 6700 xt for $310 before rebate. $290 if I stop being lazy and do the rebate.
