They did try to charge $49.99 twice so far since I ordered on the 12th. I'd be quite happy to have the gopro without the subscription for $158.99 (plus the free battery), I'd call that slick!

And, its not just for GoPro video. You can upload any of your videos to their cloud for archiving.
Way better value imo than my monthly Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
