$749 - $29.01 = $719.99 at Amazon. Look for "Save $29.01 at checkout"

Is m2 significantly faster or better compared to m1 pro models ? Especially if we have perfectly good m1 pro working ?
what app do you use that stresses an m1? I thought so.
skip the m2 and upgrade when you need to.

Retailers won't match Costco price since Costco is a paid membership wholesale store.

Target DOES pricematch Costco. They have a PDF here. https://target.scene7.com/is/cont...122be2eef9

719 for latest model is already a good deal!

I said target because red card saves you 5% and they have other coupons, promotions, gift cards to stack and make this deal slicker

As mentioned a few times above, Target does indeed price match membership stores. A few weeks ago I had a holiday employee tell me no, but asked to show a manager that exact pdf. I was polite about it and he reciprocated by allowing the checker to price match to Sam's Club for an iPad mini (@399, shortly after it went back to full price at Target for $499) it may take a little effort and you can possibly be denied, but it's worth a shot!

Thanks for the heads up. I was waiting for Amazon to price match so I could get the extra 5% off with their credit card. Never seen them do it this way but it comes out to same price $719.99 at checkout before tax and available 5% off with card. And of course free shipping. https://www.amazon.com/Apple-11-i...b3de13370#

Not worth looking at due to many complaints of overheating. Best to find a Pro M1 at a discount
I use mine primarily in a stand with wireless kb/t and sometimes the magic kb, so I don't know if it overheats but I will tell you the M2 battery drains like no tomorrow. I had the M1 previously from the Staples deal and returned it for a $600 deal on the M2 and regret it - at least until the battery issue is resolved.

Dumb question.. assuming most iPad apps are targeting regular iPads which don't come with M1/2 chips, what do you really get by having the faster processor with the iPad pros vs. regular ipad? Higher frame rate in games? More future proof?

Target M1 iPad Pro deal was the lowest (550 for 128gb 11") I have seen and it was posted on Sunday following Black Friday.

Which other deal are you talking about? 2 weeks after Black Friday? So that's last week?
I have the M1 iPad and it's still so smooth that I decided not to trade in for M2

It would be stupid to since there's barely any difference in performance unless trading up to buy higher storage. Honestly, this is not a slick deal considering M1 prices recently.

I'll share my reasoning; I am using the ipad for notes, mainly. I spend quite a bit on time on this everyday.

I have tried both the ipad 9 and ipad pro m1 11". The ipad 9 - when i use it with the logitech crayon, the noise is annoying with the nonlaminated display of the ipad 9, and also, my eyes get tired more easily on the ipad 9.

with the m1 and apple pencil 2, the noise while writing is considerably subdued, and eye strain is considerably reduced, which means i can focus better and work as long as i want..

It is a big $300+ difference, $360 vs $677 (including the pencil/crayon). But the pros outweigh the cons for my specific need/situation.

Perhaps the ipad air 4 would have worked equally well for me if I would have gotten it for $350 (walmart deal), but I missed out on that. But overall though, I am very happy with the m1 and this has helped me build momentum - so it's all good.

I can confirm that Amazon also has both space gray and silver at $719.99 at checkout. Delivery tomorrow.

I live in Dallas area so taxes is $59.40 & total comes out to $779.39. Still more expensive than the full price on AAFES/exchange which is $799 (no taxes) & standard shipping free (multiple day delivery)

Costco total comes out to $784.79 & delivery on Tues, Dec. 20.

So Amazon looks to be the better buy of those 3. Also don't forget that the magic keyboard is still on sale via Amazon & Target for $209.99
