Thanks OP! Had an Elite 2 Controller on extended warranty that was not using and exchanged it. The difference was $78. For does wondering the extended warranty for this headset is $119 for 2 years.

Not worth it. At 150 I would buy.
I respectfully disagree. I own these and got them for $250. I agree they're not worth $350, but they're an incredible set with features that nothing else on the market has. Hands down, the best gaming headphones ever created!

I have recently bought the Nova 7x at $152 deal price matched from BB. Just thinking if it's worth returning the Nova 7x and the extra $90 to get this.

Can anyone suggest who has experience with both or at least with the Pro?

How's the ANC? My game room gets quite a lot of outside sound, is the ANC and swappable batteries worth that $90?

Thanks šŸ‘

I bought one for $233.68 including tax and shipping via eBay best_buy and then also got 3% back from Capital One Shopping

I also own the original Arctis Pro Wireless, but that's for my PC and these are going to the Xbox Series X and PS5.

I checked the steel series website and it mentions that this will work on the ps5 as well. Do you lose any functionality if you use these on a PS5? I'm looking for a good headset I can use on both Xbox series x and ps5.

This is what SteelSeries customer support sent me when inquiring about Xbox Series X and PS5

Hello,

Thank you for following up with us.

I apologize for the delay in our response.

If you are looking for a headset to connect both the PS and Xbox to, then the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Xbox version is the best option for you.

The transmitter has two USB-C ports. One is made specifically for the Xbox. The second port can be used with PS, PC, Mac, and Switch. If you are only going to be hooking it up to a PS and Xbox, then it will be perfect for you.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Have a good day!
Thanks!
-Andrew

119 for 2 years of coverage?

edit: is this through geek squad for replacement?

I was reading about the potential dangers of 2.4 Ghz
https://www.researchgate.net/publ...ain_tissue

TLDR; Long-term exposure of 2.4 GHz RF may lead to adverse effects such as neurodegenerative diseases originated from the alteration of some miRNA expression and more studies should be devoted to the effects of RF radiation on miRNA expression levels

It is a bit worrying considering headphones are put on your head.
Can this be used on wired mode or should I just wait for the wired version to go on sale instead?
Have you heard of wifi?

Don't forget the sunk cost of buying the warranty for the controller originally, so + another $40. I seriously hope you didn't spend nearly 50% of the purchase price for the extra warranty. $120? What a rip off. Extended warranties are for suckers, except in the case of that elite controller.

You essentially paid $420 for this headset 🤣

Agreed. Spacial sound is abysmal in these and you can't use dolby access (atmos) with them either.
There is a workaround for the A50s to still use Dolby Atmos, I would be surprised if there wasn't here. These advertise they work out of the box with Microsoft's spatial sound solution, so I would be surprised if Dolby doesn't work.
