power handling: up to 100 watts RMS (400 watts peak)
I own the 160 and the 150, and the 160 is noticably better, not leagues better but if you got the space for them, and at 200 bucks it's an incredible deal if you just bought some

No, these are fairly large bookshelf speakers not meant near-field listening. You'd also need a separate amplifier
They'd work. If you have a large desk or space by your desk and an amp, they would sound amazing. Probably more than you'd need at a desk though.
If you're looking for computer speakers, I'd recommend the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1s (https://a.co/d/7QVTQ7R). Not on sale right now, but they're very crisp highs and decent bass for the size of the sub
Yes. They are perfect for the side or back surrounds.
This speaker's sensitivity is 95dB so, you don't need additional amplification (AVR should work just fine)
You could if you felt safe hanging them on the ceiling. Personally, I don't think I would. But if you have smaller surround sound speakers currently, you could move those up and put these on the ground. These are also way overkill for ceiling speakers, but the price makes that negligible.
