Wow that worked! I will rep. you. In case the SD link above doesn't work, after you login as SmartSeed says, copy and paste this URL in your browser. https://tps.fidelity.com/tps-api/v1/redirect-to/turbo-tax-cd?fidelityContextCode=oltx
Then I logged into Intuit. It showed up as $105, but I did the trick someone else suggested to add a random Intuit product to the cart, then delete it. Then I was able to check out for $5.41 (tax in TX).
i got so many messages about this. let me answer you all here once in for all. you need to go the beta view to see the offer.
I have the premier offer under the beta view, but when I click to the turbotax website it still gives me only $20 off, even though fidelity says premier for free w/ state. Called Fidelity, they know about the issue and said to wait until the new year as they are working on the problem.

Can you bullet point the benefits of premier version? If we download and install , will it be free to use every year? Or any subscription?
You have to purchase it new every year. And no, will not tell you what's different in the Premier version, you can get that information from the TT website.
For some reason, it's not working for me this year, even though it did last year. Yes, beta view is toggled on (to the right). No mention about Turbo Tax at all on the summary page.
Fidelity is pleased to offer a special discount on TurboTax® to help you prepare your tax return. You'll get up to $20 off TurboTax federal products: TurboTax Online, TurboTax Live, and TurboTax desktop downloads.
How many times does it have to be said that everyone gets the $20 offer and that the free offer does not show up on that page? If it's not on your Portfolio page, it's not going to be hiding somewhere else just for you.
Do you still have the same status at Fidelity that you did last year? Still have a rep assigned?
For those that aren't getting it for free and see the $20 offer, be careful. While the price is $54 at the discounted price, it does not include state and is listed at $39 per state, making your price essentially $93 if you buy it through that offer.
Costco or Amazon should have it cheaper within a month and includes State

The only thing useful about the $20 discount is if you want to use the online version. If you want the download version and aren't getting it for free, buy it at retail. But not everyone has to file state taxes, or they can do it easily on their state's website.
Where are people seeing the $5 option? I am not seeing it on the Turbo tax webpage. I am going through Fidelity link and only see the online Premier for $0 there's no option for the $5 download purchase.
FYI, I had to pay to file state taxes last year with this same deal. Only federal file is free with this
That is no different from when you buy the boxed version, which is effectively what you're getting for free (actually, $5 this year). But if you use the online version, state e-filing is free, even for multiple states.
State e-file is free in New York, one of the few stupid laws they have here that makes sense.
It looks like Intuit raised the price of the download version of TurboTax Premier to $105 this year. I believe it has been $100 the past few years and Fidelity would take $100 off making it free. I think the online version was $69 last year and thus Fidelity takes $69 off to make it free. I wonder if Fidelity just left in last year's discount numbers and hasn't gotten around to updating the discount for the download version to $105 yet?
How do you download the software? I got the offer, click the link, login with an existing TurboTax account credentials and only see the online version. Clicking on the links on the thread brings me to the same online version page.
Thanks!
Go here after clicking to the TT site from Fidelity.
