Wow that worked! I will rep. you. In case the SD link above doesn't work, after you login as SmartSeed says, copy and paste this URL in your browser. https://tps.fidelity.com/tps-api/v1/redirect-to/turbo-tax-cd?fidelityContextCode=oltx
Then I logged into Intuit. It showed up as $105, but I did the trick someone else suggested to add a random Intuit product to the cart, then delete it. Then I was able to check out for $5.41 (tax in TX).
i got so many messages about this. let me answer you all here once in for all. you need to go the beta view to see the offer.
I have the premier offer under the beta view, but when I click to the turbotax website it still gives me only $20 off, even though fidelity says premier for free w/ state. Called Fidelity, they know about the issue and said to wait until the new year as they are working on the problem.

I wonder if one installs the software on two different computer, each with a different state. Than use a NAS to hold the data file. Wonder if that will work.
This doesn't work as the calculations that needs to be made need to know about income in both States. I have never been able to work out of it's cheaper to do two States online or via download
I have the offer on my Fidelity account, but the link takes me to a Turbotax page offering 'start for free, $69 when you file, extra for state'. Not sure why the link is not working.
I suspect that adding that new landing page with a shareable link allowed a lot of people to get the deal who were not entitled to it. I'm sure that few (if any) of the people here who used it and had access to the deal should have qualified for the deal. Glad that they shut it down.
Update -- just logged in and followed the free link on the Fidelity page, and it's definitely been disabled.
Same Here! Followed the link on the Fidelity page and cannot get it to work for the life of me.

I think it might if one does not need to deduct any state taxes on the federal. For each of the state, one designate the income only for that state when filing thatf state return. There should not be any income or expense relationships between the states.

Click do it yourself on top on turbotax page and than choose cd download
You don't understand. They've turned off the discount completely because they inadvertently made it available to everyone with a Fidelity account once the link that was posted a few days ago got out. It used to be that it only worked if you qualified and went directly from the link on the main Fidelity page. In making a nicer page, they exposed it to many more people. Hopefully it will be back soon.

Oh wow, didn't know that. Was it even available to Fidelity members who only had retirement accounts with them?

Very nicely described, Bill! Hopefully, it'll preempt posts, no longer relevant, telling us how to get it the "old" way.
Also hoping someone will follow-up if it starts working again. If I discover that and there's been no post, I'll do so.
I didn't see it in the regular view but now see the offer in BETA view, repped! Toggle the switch at the top right corner. TT Premier will then showed on the bottom right corner for me, see attached.
Once you click on the promo, what's next ? I can't see how to place an order for free. Thanks
Broken for me too after clicking on Free link on Fidelity site. Shows $69 now. Should've 'locked' in the price when it was $0 as described previously when I saw it earlier this month, know better for next time. I don't file until Feb/March, hopefully Fidelity will have it fixed by then or else I've had success contacting the Advisor assigned to my account to get reimbursement of paying out of pocket, but of course would like this to work without going through this add'l hassle.

I did click through for the online version when the deal was first posted, but didn't get through to filing. Since you don't pay until you file, there's no "locking in" the price for online. Lesson learned, I'm going to buy the download as soon as it's fixed.
