Alternatively, you may have an offer to purchase the CD/Download version for $5

Wow that worked! I will rep. you. In case the SD link above doesn't work, after you login as SmartSeed says, copy and paste this URL in your browser. https://tps.fidelity.com/tps-api/v1/redirect-to/turbo-tax-cd?fidelityContextCode=oltx
Then I logged into Intuit. It showed up as $105, but I did the trick someone else suggested to add a random Intuit product to the cart, then delete it. Then I was able to check out for $5.41 (tax in TX).
i got so many messages about this. let me answer you all here once in for all. you need to go the beta view to see the offer.
I have the premier offer under the beta view, but when I click to the turbotax website it still gives me only $20 off, even though fidelity says premier for free w/ state. Called Fidelity, they know about the issue and said to wait until the new year as they are working on the problem.

Try using Latency65's link that i replied to above. Seems like that link takes me to the turbotax page but the one you linked is just giving me an error.
you guys ruined the deal by hitting the api directly like that
Didn't buy it when first offered (my fault). Then it didn't work and was marked expired. Thanks for bringing it back to life. Got it today following link posted (I do qualify as a Fidelity Private Client), using Chase credit card, adding 2 things to cart and deleting one. This is a Slick Deal. Thanks for everyone's help. I repped the most helpful replies.
Looks like the link is now only offering online filing. I hope this whole debacle doesn't make them decide to only offer online filing (or nothing at all) next year.
Edit. Have to go to the cd/download option on the top of the page.

Wrong. They're just not showing the download option when you get to the site. You can still get the download product by finding it on the website (which isn't all that difficult).

Yeah I see that now. They're just not advertising the $5 rate on the linked page.
How do you get the download? Premier is free for me and I have downloaded it from Intuit the past 3 year with no issues. Now when I follow the free link from my Fidelity account it looks like it is for Premier online only. How can i download the desktop version like years past? I don't see that anywhere.
The Citi $10 offer only requires that you charge your purchase on the card with the offer. You don't have to use their link.
Thank you, MisterBill.
If you had used your Citi card to get this deal without using Citi's link, how long did the $10 show up in the card account?
My $10 Intuit TurboTax Merchant Offer is still in Enrolled state, hasn't advanced to Redeemed. I did not receive notification for enrolling/adding that offer and also no notification for having paid using my Citi card.
Thought it'd be similar to AMEX offers where such notifications were received shortly after adding+purchasing.
When I click on the link from SmartSeed, I get the 404 code for not authorized. Anyone else came across this? Also, I only see the $20 off from Fidelity.

Yeah, they killed that when they realized that people who were not supposed to have the offer were getting it for free/$5.

I have not used my Citi card to make a purchase and will not until I hear from someone else that it worked. My last two Merchant Offers have not been paid. With Chase, the offer was marked redeemed the day after the charge posted, and the credit showed up the following day, followed by the email saying that I had redeemed it.

Was your Citi offer found under "Merchant Offers" for $10 with no minimum purchase requirement?
If yes, how did you get both the $5 by clicking through Fidelity and the Citi offer?
If I click through Fidelity, I can see the $5 in the cart.
If I click through Citi, I can't get the $5 price.
