Wow that worked! I will rep. you. In case the SD link above doesn't work, after you login as SmartSeed says, copy and paste this URL in your browser. https://tps.fidelity.com/tps-api/v1/redirect-to/turbo-tax-cd?fidelityContextCode=oltx
Then I logged into Intuit. It showed up as $105, but I did the trick someone else suggested to add a random Intuit product to the cart, then delete it. Then I was able to check out for $5.41 (tax in TX).
i got so many messages about this. let me answer you all here once in for all. you need to go the beta view to see the offer.
I have the premier offer under the beta view, but when I click to the turbotax website it still gives me only $20 off, even though fidelity says premier for free w/ state. Called Fidelity, they know about the issue and said to wait until the new year as they are working on the problem.

I saw the offer - clicked on the link it took me to a page which stated
As a valued client of Fidelity, you are eligible to file your federal and state taxes at no cost using TurboTax Premier Online, or for $5 using TurboTax Premier desktop download. Get started by selecting a product below.
Each eligible Fidelity client may file one federal and one state return with this offer; limit one desktop download product per client. TurboTax Live products not included. Optional services/upgrades are available within TurboTax at a cost to Fidelity clients.
BUT, below this I am seeing two links one for online version for $69 and another for download version for $105 - I went through the process thinking somehow the price will change in the end but it didn't - asked me $111 or so at the end

totally bait and switch
Please read through this thread. They've been intermittently having issues with this deal. Seems like the bugs are back again. I checked my account and they've removed the turbotax link again.
If you get an offer do the download. I took the offer and the account showed paid, then after entering data it now just shows a $35 discount and the offer no longer exists on Fidelity for me. Was a bait and switch!
I've used H&R Block for years now. With it I can do several returns and I can efile 5 returns for no charge. Is this the same for the download version of TurboTax? Can I do several returns and efile them for free? I used TurboTax years ago and switched when they had a bunch of bloatware. I do qualify for the $5 fidelity download and I'm curious. Thanks.

TT does it differently. The code is used for the installation. You can install on up to five machines, and each machine can e-file up to five Federal returns. Each state return (except NY) costs $20-25, but I'm assuming that was the case on HRB as well.

Not bait & switch. Not sure why it is no longer showing on Fidelity, but once you've started your return, the pricing should be set. Did you go to the payment page before filing (even though you're not ready to file) to see how much it wants to charge you? You could have done that initially to lock in the price, but once again, it should not have changed once you clicked to get in with the free price.

Seems like something is up. I'm not even seeing it on Fidelity at the moment, and I had it from day one. These bait & switch comments are just ridiculous.
I bought this for $5 back in late Dec. when someone gave the direct URL "hack" several pages ago. The free Fidelity tax deal was available to me last year but I didn't have it in my account for this year until I just checked today. So, for those who haven't, check your Fidelity account again if you had it in the past but not this year.

Clarification that the state e-file costs $, but you can print and mail for free (or sometimes use your own states website). You get the ability to download the forms for one state free and additional state forms cost $ also.

I was talking about in comparison to HRB. But yes, you can either print and mail state returns or just submit it on the state's website as an alternative to paying for state e-file (or buying a second state if you can use Federal info to enter the info on the state's site.

Update -- it's working again, more or less. I see the offer on the Fidelity site, but when you load a copy of the download into your cart, they bug where it shows up in your cart at regular price until you add a second copy is back. Just change the quantity to two and the price will be fixed. Then you can go back to one copy and pay $5.
