Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

The link in the OP is simply taking me to a page that asks if I want to change the entire account's plan. On Magenta Military, how can I tell if the account qualifies? Or how to add it if so.

another data point of someone that just added the free line promo: I am on the one plan with 11 voice lines (1 of which was cancelled 60 days ago). Also have insider discount, kickback and one plus promos on all lines. Currently have 5 free lines before this one. I was very surprised i was eligible for this. THe rep also required a device so I just took a SIM card out of an existing phone that i use for a free line and give him the phone information.
so did u max out to 12 with this free line? I am in a same boat as you. debating if I should add and max out to 12 lol.

I have One Plus plan with 8 lines currently. Not sure if I should even bother finding out with a chat rep who probably wouldn't know anything and screw my plan up. I believe I would have to move to a different plan to be eligible for 9+ lines
yes, move to 9-12 lines. Even your total will come down.

I qualified. Existing account (created 1 month ago) with 3 paid Magenta Max phone lines, 1 free phone line, and 2 watch lines. Got the new free phone line added this morning using T-Mobile mobile app chat. 8 mins to get transferred to Expert Support agent, 1 minute to verify qualification, and about 20 minutes for the agent to get the free phone line added.

Repped! I just spent 45-60 minutes chatting with the rep using the T-Mobile app and got another free line added to the account. I have T-Mobile One with 3 paid lines and 3 free lines. 2 of the paid lines have Kickback. They activated an old SIM card that I had and requested an IMEI (they would have sent a free SIM or eSIM, but I had one available). I just supplied an IMEI from an old iPad and all is good! Love these free line promos.

Unfortunately the link does not work for me, takes me to a change plan site and since I'm on Magenta Max already, shows me the option to change to Magenta Max Military, is there any other way to check eligibility without calling in?

I haven't seen anyone with Magenta Military or any other segmented plans (55+, First Responder, etc) qualify for this deal. You can check, but usually plans like Military that are already discounted do not qualify.

What a cluster. Thanks to this promo, I just found out I'm on the Essential plan, though I've been paying Magenta prices for over a year now. The agent even confirmed I signed up with Magenta Now I have to wait for a call back. Looks like I'm going to get a bunch of credits, though I cant get on this promo until things are fixed.

It's been awhile since I followed all this but what would that entail? What would I ask for specifically where they won't screw up my lines an my bill? More than likely won't they force me to magenta?

Is this promo really for just 12 months free? Huge deal breaker if so.

For ppl porting over an existing line from another carrier, do you recommend gettijg the free line added first and then port over after or do both in the same call?
