Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

I was told by chat rep that the offer is for 12 months only. After that you will be charged, unlike free line for life like in the past! So, basically you pay $35 for 12-months of usage which is not bad if you needed one.

What happens if the account is completely closed (all lines transferred paid and free)? Is there any $ penalty charged for this free line when leaving?

another data point of someone that just added the free line promo: I am on the one plan with 11 voice lines (1 of which was cancelled 60 days ago). Also have insider discount, kickback and one plus promos on all lines. Currently have 5 free lines before this one. I was very surprised i was eligible for this. THe rep also required a device so I just took a SIM card out of an existing phone that i use for a free line and give him the phone information.

This also applies to T-Mobile business customers regardless of the amount of lines you currently have.

You will pay taxes and fees if you're on a plan like Simple Choice. There are Tax Included plans like ONE TI, Magenta, Magenta Plus, and Magenta Max, etc that have no additional fees or taxes.
+1 to this - I am on an old simple choice, and my 2 "free" lines cost me something like ~ $5 each per month for taxes. Still cheap, but not free sadly.

I have the same plan details and I am ineligible. I think this was a raffle lottery or they are gradually adding additional access.

SC grandfathered plan with 10 lines that includes 1 voice free line and 1 free 200mb tablet plan.

Told I'm not qualified.

Has anyone had luck having another agent double check? I went through chat and sometimes the person you get can be iffy.
I have simple choice north america promo and have never once qualified for a free line promo. Otherwise with a regular simple choice plan I would have like 4 free lines by now.

Strange, few folks back couple of pages on Magenta Max got it. So it does look like Random/Raffle kind of promotion. Maybe you can try again using Facebook Messenger or Twitter.
Yes the T-Force was via Twitter, the Messaging was via the T-Mobile App. I may drop by a store this evening, as others seem to have had success with MPLS9. Not sure how they have defined eligibility, so it could be that it's rolling out to accounts throughout the day until they hit their number.

I have a T-Mobile account with 2 paid lines on Magenta 55+. I have another line with another carrier (Tello). How can I get that Tello line into my T-Mobile account as a 3rd (free) line?

I also have an extra unused T-Mobile SIM card.

I called T-Mobile on a separate issue and was told I qualified for this promo without asking for it. I also asked how long was the free line for and I was told for life. As long as i dont cancel any other line within the first 12 months.
