I'm on a tmo one plus plan with 8 lines, 20% insider and kickback. I qualified but the rep told me I would move to 9-12 lines to get the free line but I would lose my kickback and insider so it wasn't worth it for me.

I was told by chat rep that the offer is for 12 months only. After that you will be charged, unlike free line for life like in the past! So, basically you pay $35 for 12-months of usage which is not bad if you needed one.
Your rep read the terms incorrectly.
The 12 month restriction is that you don't cancel any existing lines within 12 months, or the bill credits will stop.

It's been awhile since I followed all this but what would that entail? What would I ask for specifically where they won't screw up my lines an my bill? More than likely won't they force me to magenta?
Let them know i don't wanna lose kickback, insider and plus promo if you have. try to chat so you will have a proof instead phone call.

Costco is over. Wireless Advocates (the 3rd party who managed the Costco Wireless Center) closed for good.

I am on T-Mobile One plan 9-12 lines.

I got the following response.
——————————
I see what you are saying 😊, this is regarding the Free line Christmas offer by T-Mobile.

It shows in your account that you are one of the lucky random customer who is eligible 😊.

Alright, before we proceed I would like to discuss the conditions with the offer.

Once you took advantage of the 2022 holiday unwrap offer by T-Mobile you cannot cancel a line within 12 months, once you cancel any line in the account the offer will be remove.

This free line offer will works regardless of your rate plan 😊, even you change your plan in your account you will still get this offer and this is a lifetime offer as long as your lines are active.
This is how they are trying to recoup money from Costco deals for people that add line and remove the line after rebate is received. If you remove any line, you loose the promo and they bill you for the line for the remainder of 12 months.

They know Slickdealers are target audience.
