Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Has anyone that added the line themselves noted the promotion being applied automatically?

Does anyone know if doing this would somehow ruin my old grandfathered T-Mobile plan?

That sounds obvious that the credits would expire if you remove the free new line.
Of course. Your question was about the 12 months. I just copied the line from the post that stated it was a minimum, not a maximum.

I have Magenta Amplified 2.0 (MAGAMP2) and I was able to get this through T-Mobile Iphone App within 5 minutes just now. T-Force on twitter just responded to confirm I was eligible after 3 hours as well.

Thought I was able to add it, but the rep said I needed to go to the store and get additional verification. I'm good I don't need it that bad.

So after 12 months you can? I have 4 paid lines currently
You might be able to cancel some of the paid lines, but not all (i.e. main line). If I remember correctly, you also won't be able to move a number from a paid to free line

I haven't seen anyone with Magenta Military or any other segmented plans (55+, First Responder, etc) qualify for this deal. You can check, but usually plans like Military that are already discounted do not qualify.
Asking T-Force just in case. Will update later.

Yes I maxed out to 12 with the free line.

Why not get a free line if you are eligible?

if I have extra sim card on hand, are they still going to charge the $35?
Probably depends on when it was deactivated. I had a sim card from a phone I swapped out 9 months ago and they said the sim was deactivated and they would have to send a new one. So my guess is once deactivated they can no longer be used.
