Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Chatting with them now.

Have an account with 4 lines.

T-Mobile One, TE

Here's some fine print:

You will be charged a monthly Regulatory Programs ("RPF") & Telco Recovery Fee ("TRF") (not a government required tax or charge) totaling $3.49 for Voice Lines and $1.40 for Mobile Internet Lines ("MI") (subject to change without notice; plus tax). Of the $3.49 total charge for voice lines, $0.50 is applied to the RPF and $2.99 is applied to the TRF. For MI lines $0.12 is applied to the RPF and $1.28 is applied to the TRF. These fees may not apply to certain data devices/services. International rates and roaming charges may apply. Certain rates are subject to change at any time. Your first service cycle may start several days after your activation. If you have a device or accessory under one of our device programs, refer to your agreement for the specific terms and conditions of that program.

All good now! Thank you for allowing me to assist you in scoring the free line offer in your account.

Congratulations on your new line #HolidayUnwrapped

Tried adding over chat, was flagged and had to go to the store with photo ID. Went to the store to clear whatever that was and have a new line added. Thank you for the info everyone.

T-Mobile home internet is very slow. You only get what you pay and sometimes not even that except if it's a free line which I never qualify because I am on Magenta Plus. I plan to leave t-mobile when my bill credits end in time for IPhone 15 going to AT&T who is now aggressively offering price promotions
Mine runs 200 during peak and 450 or so off peak. It's fast enough for most people...

Very True- I have the Simple choice 10GB plan for 10+ years, grandfathered in along with many others. For those complaining or unaware, these FREE LINES did require some work and effort to build into our existing plans. I've had to transfer my family members "adding a line/ port over from Verizon and AT&T" in order to obtain the Free Line on us. Never had any issues with them forcing a change of my plan, just be courteous and respectful, and confirm over the phone with the rep that your PLAN will not be changed. I called in today 611, the rep took care of the "add a line" promo in less than 10 mins. I paid the $35 Sim fee and did not have my IMEI available. Thanks OP!

I'm currently paying $195.20 + tax for 9 voice lines - and i cant complain about staying loyal with Tmobile. Im impressed that some people have 8+ lines for less than $20/ per line, super amazing pricing for those who put in the effort at opportune times, and no other carrier offers these grandfathered programs perennially so Tmobile should be commended for honoring their word and trying to build largest market share AND providing very good cell coverage service. HERE's A TIP for those of you seeking to build these promos: 1) Add a "t-mobile" deal alert within SlickDeals to get notified when these various promos are quietly offered. 2) Be sure to check promos beginning few weeks prior to BLACK FRIDAY all the way up to end of December...Over the past 4 years I've been able to add 4 free lines thanks to the help of the SD Community. These Free Line deals are rarely posted on the main website "Deals" section..but I have found all of mine via true SD'ers. Each time I did it, it was near the end of the year...
Very true on the "require some work and effort". T-Mobile eventually honored their word after a long and hard fought battle in my experience, but it was a battle that lasted several months and easily a couple hours each call. It meant checking your bill and going line by line and making sure your credits are applied, keeping tabs on all the promos added and making sure you consistently get it, and making sure the numbers add up or what you expected. It's a huge annoyance and lots of time invested, but you do get a very good price for what you get.

Magenta max 3 lines. I'm eligible.

I had my own phone and my own new sim card. I gave both simcard number and imei to the tforce agent.
My old LG velvet phone started working within 1 minute.

10 minutes later I get a text "Congrats, you will receive your promotional service discount from T-mobile as long as you maintain eligibility."

2022 BYOD Line P1 shows on in tmobile.com
Still no text and don't see that promo on my account. Where on the account is that showing up?

Not sure about this time, but in the past for all service promos, there used to be a requirement that if you had canceled any lines in the last 90 days, then you have to reactivate that line first before you can add the new line with promo.
That's yet another scenario I hadn't considered. Imagine they cancelled the line, then told me I was no longer eligible for the promo.

Magenta Max, Insider Discount, 7 lines (2 paid), customer since September 2020. T-Mobile app chat said I'm not eligible; waiting for T-Force on Twitter.
T-Force on Twitter verified my account is eligible. Here's the direct message, copy and paste:

Hey there!! We are excited about the free line offer that's available today and is going to be available to pre-selected customers. Taking a look at your account I do find that you're eligible, YAY! With this offer, you'd receive a monthly bill credit to offset the additional line cost. To maintain eligibility, you cannot cancel any lines already on your account for a year and remain on an eligible plan. If you'd like to place an order to participate, I can help with that here. There is a $35 Device Connection Charge along with any up-front costs if you need to order a phone today. Would you need a phone or a SIM card or do you already have a device for that line with an eSIM perhaps?

Just to set the correct expectation, this is for pre-selected customers and if the accounts are not eligible, we are not able to add the promo manually and we don't have an override option for it. But you don't have to worry about it because your account is eligible.
Good luck guys! Hope your accounts are eligible.

that's an insane deal i guess. could you share more details please. I do have fios internet with them and have 8lines on my family plan. Are the t-mobile phones compatible with verizon or do we have to buy new phones?
The rep checked my imei of my samsung note 20 ultra 5G, and it's compatible.
The rep also confirmed no interupt with tmobile until the new verizon sims come.
I signed up.
Thanks for t-mole to deny a free line to a long 10+ years customer.

Yes. Rep wouldn't activate the sim I already had. Didn't seem worth arguing about, even though I know others posted they used one they had.

Yup awaiting my sim in the mail as well.
When do we see the line and promo added to our accounts? Do you see it in your account yet? I don't see it.
