Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

I'm on a One 9+and got it added without issue. Moving to a 9+ SOC can lower your bill if you have other free lines.
weird one with 11 lines. they denied. definitely targeted.

Did all promos transfer over like Plus, Kickback, etc? Do you know the specific soc I should ask for?

Thanks! Was able to add a free line with T-Mobile one plan and having 8 lines already.
They told me I would have to change plans. Have t-mobile one and 8 lines right now. They said 8 lines max. How did you get them to add a 9th?

"ONE Plan Military"? Trying to see if I can add promo code at some point, but worried about going too far and adding the line by accident.
Same plan. Said pro code not valid. Extra line 10 a month with autopay

Can someone educate me please - while I get it that the line is free, it still requires a $35 investment to activate the offer. What is the benefit of this free line though - at the moment both myself and my wife each have a t mobile original magenta plan that we are each paying $60 for, so $120 a month billing under one account. So, if I invest the $35 (if I am eligible for the offer) how can this free line help me?
There are many uses.

I stick the extra sims in my cellular iPads so I have internet service wherever I go without having to worry about hotspoting with my phone. Also cancelled my parents cell phone service by giving them the extra lines i have so savings for there's. Also there's the free phones T-Mobile has given out over the pass 2 years so I've been stacking the free phone EIP plans on the free lines and then selling the phones for an easy $100-150 cash (3x Samsung A32, 2x one plus n200 phones).

I think they're limited on what SOC they can move you to by the current SOC that you're on. What is your current SOC?

Is it possible for a friend currently on TMobile to port his paid line over to my Magenta Max account using this free line promotion ? This could be a win-win for both. Since my Magenta max account is just 2 weeks old, is there a permutation to get a free device or trade-in for my friend
